Only think of the great Indian programers, who are doing excellent work, here in the forum.

Apart from that it has nothing to search in a programing forum!
I would suggest to:
1) Try to help those people, if it's the first time they are doing mistakes. (By showing them forum guidelines)
2) Ignore, vote down or mark as spam, but not respond.
2.1) Because my feeling is, that these people have:
2.1.1) Big problems to articulate their needs.
2.1.2) Just have fun watching, how others are going crazy by reading their post! (Have you ever considerd this?)
But again, for me this has nothing to search at the C# forum.

Could you be a bit more specific?!?
Is the SQL server 2000 on the same machine as VS 2005? What is the error message that you are getting? Is your SQL server configured in mixed modes? or just windows authentication mode?

I don't know there is although once you have installed it the help guide has alot of information to get you started.
Keep your eyes open, you might spot alternatives.

I only know of one book on the subject so far,
Programming Microsoft Composite UI Application Block and Smart Client Software Factory by David Platt.
I found the help and guidance installed by the Smart Client factory to be a good enough help, but the book does explain things a little clearer.

Are there any error messages (how do you know it's wrong)?
By the way, if u want to change the current dir, use System.IO.Directory.SetCurrentDirectory(string).

well first of all chk out this URL in ur MSDN
that is incase if your using 2005!

and now lets come to the code..
if you follow my method I think it should be as straight forward as this..
Process.Start("location of Netsend's exe file","inline arguments");
the problem I see in urcode is that your trying to execute CMD.Exe and the arguments ur giving are not starting Netsend are they... It's just cd\ command and you know what it does!!

the problem was that i was giving the wrong agruments. It
should be like this.
proc.StartInfo.Arguments = "/c net send abhi test";
Now its working...
