hi all,
i have a html page on my production server which from where my website runs.I call my asp.net application which is on a remote server using iframe on that html page.
I created p3p policy for the website and p3p policy for the application on the remote server now when i try to validate using
http://www.w3.org/P3P/validator.html[^
then it shows the below
/w3c/p3p.xml does not specify P3P policy for http://remote_server_ip_goes_here/
can anyone tell me whats the issue here is?

I want validation expression to test special character at starting and ending and also no same special character should be continously two times .
like ##.
I tried a lot but could not suceed. I am getting no error on underscore which is also a special character.

Can you show me the expression what you tried ? Have you used back referencing ? I wrote this expression,
([^a-z0-9]+)\1
1- This will match ##,@@...
2- This won't match ###, but will match ####
This will match all special characters that comes together. You can extend this by adding starting and ending characters you want to match.

^[a-zA-Z0-9]+(\w|(\b[\W]{1}))+[a-zA-Z0-9]$

but now the thing after vigorous testing i found that it wont work for _
for others it is working .

What on earth is mpr.lib ? AFAIK, you can't add a lib file to a .NET app. ASP.NET has nothing to do with it, the .NET part is your problem.

Yeah. I googled it and found that mpr.lib is using in this control.

Because a .lib file is the compiled code to go with headers used to include a C++ library.

i am using remoting on same system then its work properly . if i using remoting server on different system and client on different system then error generates:-
A remote side security requirement was not fulfilled during authentication. Try increasing the ProtectionLevel and/or ImpersonationLevel.
any body tell me what problem here and how to remove this problem...

If you are impersonating the ASPNET account with some other account, this only works on the local machine. As soon as you leave the machine to access another computer on the network, the user is changed back to ASPNET for security reasons.
I have had this kind of problem when trying to access a COM on another machine, I couldn't make impersonation work over the network, so I used remoting instead and everything worked fine. Maybe you need to set some permissions on the remote computer. Could it be that the remote PC has a firewall enabled? In this case, the remoting port you are using might be blocked.

Hello Friends ...
i migrated ASP.NET 1.1 application to 2.0 . i completed all the things after that i check with browser compatibility . and i changed HTML 4.0 v to HTML 4.01 v . in this .IE 7 working properly in MOZILA "OVERFLOW" CSS Property is not supporting and also its shows error on bellow line in CSS file
top:expression(this.offsetParent.scrollTop-0);
this is the overflow line ..
Please help for this ...

expression doesn't support in non-IE browsers. So, you may need to handle this by using Javascript.
There are some CSS tricks that can be used instead of "expression." (eg: You can use max-width instead of width:expression(*** + "px") but it's too large to cover. maybe. you can tell us more details about why you use this and what it does in your application.

i followed ur way but its not working actual process this project is reg Hospital management system. in one .aspx i need to add patient name and details and that same page i search exit patient option is there if i click search button that another page will come in that exit patient details is there so if i selected that one patient . that patient details comes previous .aspx page here blow that page one gridview is there that patient details comes under that page
so in that grid header contains patient id, name , ph no .. below that header name and id comes. if i scroll that datagrid that patient details overflow to that grid header this is actual function , this is working in IE but in Mozilla that datagrid header also overflow .

Hi, I would like to have 2 questions on data reader object answered. Suppose I want to iterate through the data reader results using a while loop like the following:
While objDataReader.Read()<br />
'do something<br />
str = objDataReader("Supplier_Name")<br />
End While<br />
If my query which precedes the above while loop is (Select Supplier_Name from Suppliers where ShippingFee < $50.0).
1)Will the results include all the names within the Supplier_Name column or will they be just the names of suppliers whose ShippingFee is less than $50.0?
2)Will I need to tell it to read the next result until the EOF?
