That is hardly a question that belongs on the ASP.NET forum, but now that it's been asked, I'll try and answer it. Vasudevan gave you a basic answer, but there is no DTS wizard in SQL 2005. Right click the database you want to import into, then the Import/Export Wizard (slave to SSIS), will prompt you for a from data source, where you choose a flat file provider, and a to data source, where you choose your target database. It's a wizard, follow its help.

There is no such thing as ASP.NET code. ASP.NET uses existing languages, such as C# and VB.NET, so based on your previous message I suppose you mean C#. This is no trivial task, and judging from your level of knowledge, I would not attempt it alone.
I recommend A Fast CSV Reader[^], by Sebastian Lorien here on Code Project. He has really done his homework on this.

I am using .Net2005(2.0)- Asp.net with C#
I have a button in a web form which opens a file in client machine.
Instead of directly opening the file, i need the application to prompt with "open with" dialogue box in client machine.
Eg: On button click, i need to open a text file -
Under normal course - the text file will be opened using notepad(as notepad is the default windows assosiated application to open a txt file)
Requirement - the file should prompt with "open with" dialogue box, so that the user can select MSword or Textpad
Is there any possibility to acheive this.

Hi all,
I have a gridview and a datasource, when I make changes to the values in the gridview and update them they are changed on the gridview, but not in the database, so those values I changed stay the same in the database, the datasource gets updated but it never reflects to the database itself. How do I get the database updated with the edited values?

Is it possible to fire an event when user closes the browser window in javascript or any other language? Please help.
I have user a login system in my project which is being made in asp.net 2.0. I want that when user closes the browser window it should logout autmatically. If anyone of you knows about it please guide me. Thanks.
