May i know how do i call from Java Applet, the Index Server Searching option.
Its a web applet application runs on IIS Server. For Searching Purposes, i use Index Server.
How do i retrieve the ASP results from Index ServeR?
How does WFC Supports Indexing?

I have an applet which has more then one class file, There is no problem to control public function in the applet from javascript when the functions are in the main class, but when I try to call a function which is located in another file, it gives me an error.
Any idea ????

Can you give me full detail of problem.
upto my knowledge it is due to that you have to declare
the instance variables of the other files and then use that
instance variable to access the function u want by using the
scope operator or the dot operator.
if u can give me more detail of the problem i can help u.

Is your "CODEBASE" right? Remember it will have to download the other .code file (unless you use a jar) so it needs to know where to look.

Hi, a lot of peopel like JBuilder, have you checked into that. But if you want a pretty good IDE for free check JEdit. For the price, free, you can't bet it. Okay, good luck.

(img - it is picture on website, which update every second.. (like video stream))

I'm trying to develop a streaming audio application as a java applet. much like http://www.audiowp.com
the problem is i don't know how to use the java sound api in the older sdk's (1.1.2 -1.2.2) so that there
is no need for a plugin to the java engine. like the site www.audiowp.com - you don't need to download
anything for it to work. I'm currently using AudioInputStream and a SourceDataLine - is there any other
way to do this? please help?

I am having some problem of running Java applet on IE. When I logged into Java applet first time it's ok. If i logout and login to Java applet using same window it lets me login but doesn't show anything on the browser(Screen is blank). If I resize the window I can see information on the applet. Can some one give me clue for this.

The following code in IE works fine but won't in Netscape! Anyone got any ideas why please?

try this:
var txtObj = eval( 'document.' + txtID + '_big');
this should work unless your calling this id from a different layer.
document.all[] really doesn't work in netscrap. You have to drill down to the elements you want.
