I want to create image galary by just Drag and Drop the image from external folder. This I have to do in web application. I want asp.net sample code
It is urgent. Can you send me asp.net or javascript code.

I saw one photo gallery like that in dotphoto.com. They allow the users to drag and drop the images from harddrive to their upload control.
They are using flash to get this feature. but one thing is that the user has to add their site in trusted zone.
Maybe. you can try with flash too.. I don't see any other alternative way to achieve this goal.

Hi there,
I'm coding in ASP.net 2.0 and I've followed a couple examples to attempt to filter a GridView on my page using a DropDown box. I.e., List of states in the drop down menu; when California is selected the list of data in the GridView should filter to only include rows with California. All examples I've seen say that the code below should work but my GridView disappears from the page completely when I enter the WHERE clause that's linked to the dropdown menu named ddItemType.
I've tryed using the syntax '[ITEM_TYPE] =@ddItemType' and '[ITEM_TYPE] =?'
but these both make the GridView disappear.
Can anyone help me???

If you are sure about this SELECT statement with that criteria should return some values then you might miss to bind the data with your gridview.
You need to bind the data after filtering... it is better if you show us the code that you wrote in Page_Load and GridView filtering...

u have to take the help of the javascript code.Since the drop down list will be innergrid view the values will not be captured properly.Write code in javascript call that in Grid View

Hi all,
I am designing a Online Purchase Form using asp.net. It Contains Sno. PartNo Manufacturer, Quantity and Price. For this, I created a gridview. Now, the box is empty and columns are labelled with as mentioned above (sno, part no, etc......).
But now, I am not able to edit the columns like entering the Sno, Partno, manufacturer name, etc...
Could any one please help me on this... Let me know if you need any further details...
I tried by using something like this, but invain...

Hi,
I published an ASP.net web application using precompiled files way, when I try to browse the web site from the internet, every javascript word is convertted to _avascript in the source of the page !!
which corrupts all javascript code, including even LinkedButton Click events 
But when i browse the web site from within the server manchine itself, it works well
(using both http://localhost/website or http://realipaddress/website)
Regarding that another website hosted on the same server has the same problem and This problem appeared only after the network administrator changed the firewall, i am not sure if this what caused the problem.
Would anyone help we with that please ...

This is because you cannot catch MaxRequestLength error from the code until you set a maximum value to the MaxRequestLength in the web.config and then check for the size. For example, set the MaximumRequestLength = 100MB and then check the file which does not exceeds 50MB.

When I run the page, the skinned controls show correctly. But for some reason in design view the controls have errors on them. Is there a way to remove these errors? Are they false errors? If they are errors that I need correcting, how do I do so? The pages are working fine so this is confusing. Thanks in advance.

By default Gridview will display the horizantal verical lines between rows and columns cells. How to remove those lines from the Gridview.
