No. The best you can have a new window sans menu bar.

That comes into picture for setting up IE from Administrator perspective. He is asking from a website point of view right?
In IE 6.0+, for HTTPS, ViewSource is anyway is disabled to prevent saving. This is controlled from Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Security.

Yes I know. That's why I put Joke message Icon . Do you think his question has an effective solution. I have seen in wikipedia, when we save pages, design will get disturbed. And in Gmail if we use saveas option from inbox, nothing will be saved. No idea that how they are doing

like
Now we are migrating the 2003 application(Already developed) to the 2005...here we are using master pages ...In all the webpages am using master pages
while doing that in the HTml view there is no body tag(and onload="" attribute) for the content pages..But it is must to call
alertmsg(); while loding the page ..So plz let me have some solution to solve this scenario or send some related articles ...
Thanks in advance

Instead of doing alert messages using the onload function why don't you look at the Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock method in the code behind page.

Your code is going in selected index change before there is any item in the grid. Write a check, something like this:
IF NOT RadGrid1.SelectedItems.Count = 0 THEN
and then write your code inside this If condition.

I don't think that you will get the source code of that tool kit since it is developed by Microsoft. If your requirement is only to show RSS feeds, better use a dataset to read RSS XML file and bind that to a datagrid.

Hi,
How can we hide querystrings? Googled a bit and it gives info like, make it as GET instead of POST encrypting etc
Do we have any other ways?
In the application i am trying to open a new window using script function and window. open method
Now when the windows open the title of the window displays the url, is there a way to hide this title bar using javascript

Try this
javascript:var win=open('yourpage.aspx','_blank','status=yes,scrollbars=yes,resizable=1,width=600,height=600')
This will work correctly on IE6 and firefox. But IE7, I think it will show address bar..

Thanks Navneeth,
For the reply! i would sure try that meanwhile can you tell me how to hide the querystring?

I am not clear that what do you mean by hiding querystring ? Do you want a clean URL without any querystring ? If so you can store the values that to be passed to this page in session and access here.
Or do you need to show the querystring in a non readable format, then Vasudevan Deepak Kumar had already answered you.
I think if you are able to hide the addressbar for the new window, then user won't be able to view the querystring easily ( they can by taking the page properties ).

Gautham,
If you want to use querystring and just don't want to display it to the users then what you need to do is to rewrite the URL.
For that you can have a look at this[^]

Hi,
Let us say that i have used the convert function thus making it as a unreadable format to the user.
what should be the procedure for me to access the querysstring in the other page? will it be the same as the url is converted?
