MDI and Child forms ISSUE pashitech5-Jul-07 4:52 pashitech 5-Jul-07 4:52  Hi all, I have a MDI names as MainForm and in that MainForm MDI i have a menu item names as File to the File Menu item i have a form named as 'Employees', Here in my 'Employees' form i have a button names 'AddEmployes' Whenever user clicks on 'AddEmployes' Button a form named as 'Employee Details' will opens, NOW MY PROBLEM IS --When the user selects one employee department of 'Employee Details' Form and selects Save Button of 'Employee Details' Form data of THE 'Employee Details' Form is saving and the 'Employee Details' Form is CLOSING.. ALL I need is i need to make the Employee details form to be in to the same state allowing the user to select another option.. Your question is not 100% clear. What I understand is when you click on the save button, after saving, your form closes down. Well, the only way it will close is when u ask that for to close. Just remove that code. If my comments does not make any sense, send me the code snippet so that I can see whats going on. Cheers. Goto Appearance tab, under the windows and buttons dropdown select windows classic, under color scheme select pumpkin. Now the Appearence of the application is totally changed. Alot of controls you can set the colours on and so fix thier look but even with those there are often colours you don't have control over. It also depends on the language you are writing the app in. Bydefault red) When I am setting the variable for a particular node then the node's image is changed to green(required behavior). But when I click on a node which has green image, the node's image is automatically changing to red and again changing back to green after changing the node selection. Please help me in solving this problem. I want to retain the back color of the selected node when I change the selection of the node through my form's next/previous buttons. To be clear when I am clicking on any node with mouse the backcolor is turning to blue(system generated). But when I am changing the selection the backcolor of the newly selected node is turning to white. I tried to modify the backcolor explicitly but I am not getting the same color as if system is giving by default. thanks in advance, Rakesh. Rakesh Re: Problem with Treeview Ed.Poore7-Jul-07 0:28 Ed.Poore 7-Jul-07 0:28  This colour changes automatically to reflect the highlight colour (used when the TreeView item is selected) defined by the user in the Display Properties of Windows.  So it is the same colour as the TreeViews selected node colour.
