its not possible in web applications. you have to store/upload the files in
some locations and you can navigate the links.
otherwise it may show some security errors when you are implementing this in
client side.

In vb.net you can easily mention like this C:\folder\file

You can Use it to get the data from Drive C.
Use the path C:\\folder\\file in your code and try to fetch the data.

I'm using the correct syntaxes. for the path.
but the hyperlink will not open the file unless you give ~\\folder\\file

Hi All,
The requirement is to create factory class that implements a set of cross-cutting aspect classes and provides configuration to create user defined implementations for them at runtime. The user defined assemblies implement the Command pattern, and are invoked in the order they are configured. This requires using Enterprise library for handling configuration data in an external configuration file.
The factory is a singleton class. It references each aspect by an interface. The factory also defines wrapper class to invoke aspect method calls, and load the assemblies on demand.
Please Provide the necessary code and material.

Dear Satips,
I have no prior experience on the topic of Aspect factory and Class Factory.
I jus wanted to check if someone had done some sort of job related to this earlier, which could be helpful to me....
I am not asking you to do my job.I just require some supportive documents.
It would be helpful if ppl could share a few docs or code using factory class and aspect factories, which they had worked earlier on.

first you have to seperate the modules for your forem.
1.login and registration
2.Posting and viewing the messages
3.Posting and viewing the articles
4. admin control
second you have to start working for the modules and integrate them later.
Ask your queries seperately when you need any guidance.

What I would like to do now is read the Data from the DropDownList. I've read that the values can be retrieved as DropDownList.Items[index] - replace the

I am writing my own user control and I'm wondering how to control its appearance in .NET 2.0. We can call my control 'PlayerTemplate' and it represents a template for a player in the NFL. The appearance of this control will be dictated by the team that the respective player plays for. Here is a small chunk of what the control is currently comprised of:

As you can see, I have my team classes organized such that the sub-elements of each playerTemplate get defined based on the top-level team css class.
I was trying to figure out how to do all of this using skins, but because I'm designing a custom user control I'm wondering if that is overkill. I could pretty easily expose a property called 'Skin' in my user control and apply the necessary team css class directly to the top level <div> and be done with it, but I'm wondering if I would gain something by implementing it through skins instead.
All of the skin examples I've seen are used to style known controls, does it even make sense to try to implement skinning for a custom-written user control? Obviously you'd have to add the SkinID to the usercontrol yourself, but how do you then associate that skin property back to a .skin file? I'm lost.
