Hi,
I have a page that reads an image from another aspx-file. The image is generated on the fly using GDI+.
A javascript in the main page refreshes the image at a regular interval.
This works great in IE6, but in IE7 the image is only loaded the first time. If I refresh the page the image is loaded again, but only once.
To me, this is a cachingproblem in IE7...but I have no idea how to fix it.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

To the image URL, can you append each time a random digit or number? That would prevent IE from caching it thinking that it is a new request each time.

Thanks for the tip!
It works, but I still think there must be a function to disable or configure. Doesnt anybody else have a similar problem?

is this code for your dropdown list if yes you have to add the following properties to your dropdownlist
ddlLanguage --> dropdownlist name
ddlLanguage.DataSource = ds.Tables(0)
ddlLanguage.DataTextField = "Column Which you want to show"
ddlLanguage.DataValueField = "Column Value to be assigned "
ddlLanguage.DataBind()
Thanks

well, at the moment Im still worried about the connection.I jus need to show the values without selecting anything.
After making sure that the values show, then I can change to select from a dropdown.

Ok, the code I posted is suppose to show values off a database straight onto a page during form load(when u run the page), so the problem is that I dont see any errors, and no values are shown either.
The table is called Customers.So the values should show automatically when i run the page, but they dont and has no errors either.

Ok.Here is the drill.
I have a code that runs.It establishes a connection with my NWIND database, then extract values from a table called Customers.This values are then displaye on my page.
All this happens during execution.

Hard to tell... Half of your code doesn't even show up in the post.
Use the "Ignore HTML" option when you are posting markup code.

How can I create a marquee that restarts the scroll before the previous scroll ends?
|
|

I guess it has the solution I need though I have not reached. One problem I noticed while nesting marquees is that the inner marquee will be partially exiting while the outter marquee scrolls it. I guess I have to find the right scrollammount and scrolldelay. Thank you.

It's really impossible to help much based on this. If it works on one server and not another, then the other server is not configured properly, or if it's only visible when you're on the machine, then it could just not be configured to be visible outside the machine, due to firewalls, etc.

Any specific error message to the webservice? From localhost or to the same system in IE, the logged account might be doing magic. From other systems, the web service might have encountered 401 Unauthorized unless an 'Anonymous Authentication' for the directory was given in Inetmgr.

Hi all,
I have one "aspx" page and one "usercontrol(ascx)" page.In the usercontrol page i have one HTML table which i use to show data when the usercontrol is loaded.I'm loading the data into the table using a javasript which is registered in the page load of the usercontrol.
In the javascript i'm now referring the Html table as "document.all(""html_cart"").insertRow();"
But when the javascript is executed i'm getting the error
"document.all().insertrow(); is null or not an object"
I even tried with "document.form[0].Usercontrolname_html_cart.insertRow();"
where USercontrolname is the name for the usercontrol page.I used this "Usercontrolname1_html_cart", bcoz in the viewsource i saw that the usercontrol is referred as Usrcontrolname1.
Please any one suggest the correct method to refer the html table in the javascript, so that i can add rows and data into the rows
Thank you in advance
regards
KC

I would try referring to the table as
document.getElementById("html_cart")
which is more cross-browser freindly....
Why the double-quotes in yours? Unless, of course, you're building this up as a string in your code-behind...
