Hi all,
I am not able to add Serbian language support to my project developed in MFC, VC 6.0 with UNICODE support. The Serbian messages are being displayed in different characters. I have added the Serbian language support to my system. Please tell me if any thing is to be done.

Take some unicode font, e.g. Sylfaen. Does it support Serbian characters. I think it does. So what are the steps you done to make your app internationalized? I do the dfollowing things and my native language [Armenian] characters are shown correctly;
*) Make the entire project UNICODE built
*) Almost no quoted text inside the app source code
*) Open mypapp.rc file [by WordPad and/or notepad] and save it as UNICODE file [have backup copy though].
*) Write Armenian symbols inside the .rc file. Note if your symbols are shown ok in the .rc file, they should be shown in the app's UI as well. Otherwise smth goes wrong with the app.
And the last point; Have you tried to do the same in VC7 or greater versions? I'm skeptical about VC6 though not sure.

Yes. i have made the entire project UNICODE build. Added the Serbian text in a string table of .rc file and tried to show it on the dialog when required. Even it is not working fine with the message box too.
It is working fine in the VC2005. But my entire project is in VC 6.0. I have tried by making a dll in VC2005 and using it in VC 6.0 but still it is repeating the same. For example i have take the message "Sačekajte malo...". It is showing the message as "Sa?ekajte malo..." when pasted directly or "Sacekajte malo..." when pasted via notepad.
I think we should add some tool or update to the VC6.0. But could not find what it is.

Is it just the Serbian language or unicode itself? Have you set up your application to handle unicode for sure? Just add an edit box and try typing unicode characters in it (not necessarily Serbian).

Use PDH API's to get the memory usage, CPU time, VM, Page fault, Threads, Handle count and all other parameters availble in task manager. In this API there is a parameter for machine name give the remote machine and get the result. I dont know all API's now and not having MSDN search on google or MSDN for PDH

It's possible to implement direct threading in MS Visual C++ 6? I'm searching for samples using any technique (tails calls, trampolines, labels as values?, etc).
I'd also appreciate if anybody points me to a C++ (MSVC or GCC) library for developing a virtual machine interpreter or code samples of Huffman Threaded Code, String threading, Call Threaded Code, Indirect Threading, etc.

I have to open https://10.1.1.1 in my VC++ code but If I get The page cannot be displayed. I should pop up a message in VC++. Can anyone suggest me how to implement this

To open the URL, you can use ShellExecute but you won't be getting a notification for the successful loading of the page in IE.
So it would be better for you to use a CHtmlView and use:
OnNavigateError-Called by the framework if navigation to a hyperlink fails.
or
OnDownloadComplete-Called when a navigation operation finished, was halted, or failed.
You can also look for the functions in CHtmlView that send notifications for successful loading of the pages or if some error is thrown.
I guess this is what you are looking for and it helps you.

If you want to open a page you can use of CDHtmlDialog class.

Try removing the "http://" from the server name(s).

Can you open the URL from your browser?

Yes but I am doing a automatic project so when user clicks a button the web page should open but if the page cannot be displayed comes I have to pop a message. I am able to open the web page using shell execute but I am not able to trace whether the page cannot be displayed is in the web page or not

Remove LVS_SINGLESEL - Allows only one item at a time to be selected. By default, multiple items can be selected.

Everybody here knows how to do it  with the mouse and the Ctrl Key or using the UP/DOWN arrow Keys.
Do you want to do this through your code? If yes then iterate through the items in the list control and use
m_myListControl.SetItemState( m_IndexToBeMarkedAsSelected/*item to be marked as selected*/, LVIS_SELECTED, LVIS_SELECTED );
Do remember to remove the single selection property.

You mean items/rows, isn't it ?
By default you can select more than one items. Have a look at LVS_SINGLESEL style. This make list control to allow selection of single item.
If you are using list control from resource editor, make sure property single selection is not checked.
