Statusbar - black font

Hi everybody,

if i add a text to the statusbar, the font-color is gray and not black.
The same like the NUM,CapsLock and ScrollLock, if one is deactivated the
label "NUM" in statusbar is gray, if it's activated it's black.

What i need to change to color it to black?

This is a very brief post to point you in the right direction...

You would do it by creating an onUiUpdate message for that pain ID. Then create an OnUiUpdate message handler and simply set the text and then enable it like this:

void CMainFrame::OnUpdateCurPosIndicator(CCmdUI *pCmdUI)

pCmdUI->SetText("MyText"); // Just a simple text string...
pCmdUI->Enable(1); // this is what will remove the "grayed" text
}

i have tried googling it out too.
I wanted some other sites offering a similar content with different styles.

Dear all
in C language we can create dynamic multi dimentional arrays by using malloc operator.
But how we can create multidimentional arrays by using new operator in C++.
Please note that length of each dimention is dynamic and is not apparant in compile time.

A code example for a two dimensional array:

int** pArray;
pArray = new int*[10];
for (int i=0; i<10; i++)
   pArray[i] = new int[10];

This will create a 10 X 10 array.

I am trying to develop an application which will be able to convert several
European currencies to Euros and back, using visual C++

I need to convert 3 currencies to euros and theother way.

I also need to connecting it to a database where currency data
from at least 10 European countries will be stored.

The user must be able to choose to convert any of the
currencies included in the database, or add more currencies of his
choice, using application’s database link.

Can you help me out ?

Compiler Error C2628

Hi all,

Every time I try and compile I receive a Compiler Error C2628, stating the following:

Error 16 error C2628: 'DWORD' followed by 'unsigned' is illegal (did you forget a ';'
c:\program files\microsoft visual studio 8\vc\platformsdk\include\wtypes.h 385
Error 17 error C2628: 'DWORD' followed by 'long' is illegal (did you forget a ';'
c:\program files\microsoft visual studio 8\vc\platformsdk\include\wtypes.h 385

And when I press F1 on the error, the MSDN states the following on the problem:

Error Message
'type1' followed by 'type2' is illegal (did you forget a ';'?)

A semicolon may be missing.

The following sample generates C2628:

Possible resolution:

  Copy Code 
// C2628b.cpp
class CMyClass {};

But as far as I can see there is no semicolon missing !!

There is. To complete class defintion, semicolon must be there.
So class CMyClass {} is not valid statement, its valid when you give semicolon.

I am well aware of that fact, I was trying to say that I did put a semicolon after the class definition.

But I include this file shlobj.h and then I receive the error, when I comment this file out the project builds successfully.

Why is this ???
