we have one application that has a master thread and 12 different threads (application - created using AfxBEginThread). These 12 different applications are using the DB2 database for update. Master thread will query the db2 database for every one minute to check the status of each application. Each application has its own update , but update functions resides in the master thread. So each application will call the function in Master thread, by passing their own recordset object. The problem that we face are : 1. We couldnt use mutual exclusion or mutexes. 2. So the application is using some clusters of memory which is not released and possibly the application is crashing every week. Can anyone give me a solution , so that we can syncronise the 12 threads and we have only one db2 connection and one recordset object for 12 threads.
