Hi,
Im inserting into one column image at the same time text. but when I insert data I get this error:
Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: Images/laughing.gif
Why is it so?

Are you executing two applications simultaneously in debug mode? That may be the cause.

Hi all.
In my aspx web-page i use DetailsView control for updating data in SQL database.
Firstly i suppose to use SqlDataSource as data source control for this one. But after consideration i had resume what this not exactly convinet for me, as for user can change data in DetailsView many times but i should update my data only once. Since what i suppose what should use ObjectDataSource controls (as buisness object layer), but one use reflection and reflection is very slow (as far as i know), is it good practic to use this ObjectDataSource as data source
for DetailsView ???

Can u solve my problem…
When we login a page by giving User Id and Password then we get the next page. If we copy and paste that URL of that Next page in a new page of a New Browser then it has to once again redirect to Login page instead of opening the Next page.
Can you tell me how to do this

write this lines in web.config file:

How to change the calender in year wise....For example if April 2007 is there in title of calender, i want to cahnge it as in year wise i.e. April 2006, April 2005 ................

Do u want the year scroll in calender??? If that is the problem then use this:
Take 2 link buttons << and >> and write this code:

it depends on the way you bind, are you using any bound columns or are you binding the data automatically?
you should have atleast one column which is of primary key type so using that column value you do your procesing accordingly

i don't need to select top N rows when i am fetching the data from the database but at some point of time i need to select top N rows from dataview which contains all the data.
so is it possible to use select query in dataview?

for this...you can loop thru the dataview to get the top n records
Or better: Add a column on the datatable, set it's autoincrement value, include it in
the rowfilter for the dataview

Note that there is no ADD item as such that work cross browser, you have to get the number of items currently there and then add new ones by changing the index (the options[indexnumber] above).
