Ok ..But is it possible that both client side script on onclick (for validation ) will run first and then server side code (for database entry) will run .

why do u want to validate twice.. try using the EnableCLientScript Propert of the validator by setting it false for Server side validation.. and settin it true for client side.. create 2 such validators.

supposedly 5 was the size, and 6 chars are entered, a exception will be generated, which can be caught and aptly handled.. but y wud u need this.. simply set the texbox maxlength to 5.

hi all
I have page main contain a iframe
On the page main have treeview and i use Ajax
tag UpdatePanel contain tree view but it not contain iframe

when i click event SelectedNodeChanged on tree view i want ReLoad iframe
On the function i try javacript but it not run

this is ReLoad() in iframe. it will postback to server with event LinkButton1

How can i Reload or refresh my iframe on above function by any ways ?????

u can use NavigateUrl for each treenode such as Tree1.Nodes[0].NavigateUrl = "javascript:yourfunction();return false;";
