Hi,
Would it be possible to mark a reply as a solution to the question posted ? I know that one can rate that post, but it does not mean that it is an answer to the question posted. I believe, that answers may be highlighted (with some different color) so that some one interested to find the solution might jump directly to the post. This system already exists in the MSDN forums.
Will it be good enough to run these 2 systems (rating and marking as a solution) parallely ?

you already have icons when you post a message. if you don't answer the question, don't select the "answer" icon...
BTW, i already thrown a request so that the author of a question could raise a "Solved" flag so that everybody can see it

I agree. Majority of times, there is no way to know, if query is solved ?

In the Join Code Project page, there is an option to Remove Your Current Profile Picture. But if a user is just joining, then they wouldn't have a profile picture. So why is this option there?
Also to remove your picture, you have to submit your settings. Wouldn't it be better to remove the picture and then go right back to the Join form?

My replies on the topic "programming in c#" made by the user 'babyhannah' are now presumably listed under "Remote Desltop Connection Question" by user 'Sautin.net'.
I still have the emails notifying me of changes in my active threads, so I can prove that there was indeed an original post, that is gone now.
Also you can see an orange line, indicating difference in posts, but there is no starting message.
Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I guess it's called a 'hanging post' ?
Due to post-hanging I offended another user and I'd like to see this corrected...

I think the frequent hanging posts come because of Parent thread deletion.

Ive deleted a parent thread and it just says "[Message deleted]" and still shows the child threads so Im not sure that's the problem.
