This is strange I have never seen that the disassembly view keeps coming up, when its closed from the user. It normally only shows when you debug into a line of code that doesn't contain any debug info, like debugging into 3th party libraries. If thats the case you should step over instead of step into.

It also comes up when the "User breakpoint called from code at 0x..." dialog appears. I use 3rd party libs without the source, and so if you get an assertion in that code, the Disassembly window shows its ugly head again.
I even tried to undock the Disassembly window and make it really small and just off my screen - this worked for a while but then for some reason it maximized again. Gah.

Oh, I see, you're cross posting the site. do you want C++, or C++/CLI ? Which ever you want, post there only, please.

Hi
void CSplashView::OnMouseMove(UINT nFlags, CPoint point)
{
// TODO: Add your message handler code here and/or call default
CRect rect(.....);
Rect.PtInRect(point)
CView::OnMouseMove(nFlags, point);
}
U can get the mouse point in point argument of OnMouseMove() handler.
PtInRect() helps to know,is the point is inside the rect.
Check the description of the function in MSDN for more detail.

hi i have to vary the image according to the screen resolution. how to do this
Arise Awake Stop Not Till ur Goal is Reached.

Hi
DEVMODE ESimSetDM;
EnumDisplaySettings (NULL, ENUM_CURRENT_SETTINGS, &ESimSetDM);
if( (ESimSetDM.dmPelsWidth != 800) || ( ESimSetDM.dmPelsHeight != 600))
{
ESimSetDM.dmPelsWidth = 800;
ESimSetDM.dmPelsHeight = 600;
ChangeDisplaySettings( &ESimSetDM,CDS_UPDATEREGISTRY );
}
Above code will help u to get the resolution.
THis code will always keep the resolution as 800*600

Have you tried:
CDialog *pDialog;
pDialog = new CDialog();
pDialog->MessageBox("A", "B", MB_OK);

You can get the same effect (without the memory leak) like this:
::MessageBox( NULL, "A", "B", MB_OK ); It may not have an owner window, and therefore doesn't prevent any of your windows from receiving input, but it still creates a modal (nested) message loop. That means that any PreTranslateMessage functions you might have aren't going to get called.

Ya its working as modalless message box.
thanks thanks thanks a lot...

Hi,
whats to do to add a new Command ID?
in a view i have sereval commands. which are already handled via ON_COMMAND.
Now, i want to add a new ID f.ex. ID_MY_NEW_COMMAND
I tried it to add it via the StringTable in the ressource manager.
the ON_COMMAND(ID_MY_NEW_COMMAND,On_ID_MY_NEW_COMMAND_Click) is added
and the On_ID_MY_NEW_COMMAND_Click is also inserted into the view.
But the command can't be called , the Icon of the Outlook-Bar is disabled.
If i change the Icon's property of the CommandID to another existing one, than it works
( the icon is available and the command is routet to the On_ID_MY_NEW_COMMAND_Click
( the handler is changed )
Does any one help me ?
Big thanks
