Hi,I have a scanner head (reader with bar) which connects on a port USB. I will wish that when I scanne a code bars, that the data read are to post in a textBox in an application in C++ to exploit it later. I seek an environment which allows it. Where to find this API with examples and tutorials?
Thank you

Did you not get libraries and sample application from the equipment vendor?

yes, but i need C++ Standard Library and function.
info:
Standard connection of modéle USB
Models manufacturer OPL6735
Type of possible connection keyboard USB

standard C++ doesn't know anything of barcodes... !!!

There is no standard library and function available in C++ language to deal with barcode or any such device. The manufacturers of the device will develop libraries to exploit functionalities of the device and provide the libraries. Make use of those libraries.

If you know the library, then what's the problem?

This type of information will be discussed in the library's documentation.

Populating an edit control is an entirely different matter, and has nothing to do with the origin of the data. Use SetWindowText() for that.

If there are multiple projects in a single solution, then how to access a function from one project in another project?

You can't. They are still separate projects and so you cannot 'magically' call a function from one project into another one.
Now, it depends also the type of projects you are working with: if it is a DLL or library, then you can use the standard techniques to "export" functions.
In brief, having all projects in a single solution doesn't change anything to the accessiblity of classes or functions. It is just a convenient manner to group projects that are related.

for that you have to include that file or class in your project

I think the message is quite clear: the resource file is read-only. Remove that property (using explorer for instance) and that should solve the problem.

I don't see this property, can you give me the full instructions how to remove it please?

Err... This has nothing to do with Visual Studio but with read/write properties of files under windows. Your resource file is read-only, so open the explorer for example, find your .rc file and right-click on it to change its properties.

The read only property isn't chacked.
What else could it be?

Is the .rc file read only?

Hmm yes I think so.
When I try to add timer event I get this error.
