you already have a control that looks like an advanced editBox, which is for IP address typing...
search for the CIPAddressCtrl

It's a window class called SysIPAddress32 , and you can utilize it via MFC's CIPAddressCtrl class.

Once you have a string properly formatted, simply call ShellExecute() or CreateProcess() .

Hi All,
Are there APIs to detect whether the internet connection from WiFi or Ethernet or Dialup connection?

Hmmm.. that was too generic. I wanted to know if the existing internet connection is through either dialup or wifi or ethernet. Thats the requirement. So are there any APIs present to detect this. Please let me know in case you get a hint. Thanks

How do i write a server that supports multiple clients using MFC Socket classes?
Thanks
|
|
|
|
|
Have a look at MSDN examples CHATTER and CHATSRVR here[^].
The server accepts connections from multiple clients.

Use the CAsynSocket class which will listen and make a connection to the server from multiple clients one after the other as in a queue i think?
