onmouseover{ img2.src = "image3"; }
onmouseout{ img2.src = "image2"; }
Assuming the images are next to each other this will give the appearance that image2 is replaced by image3 on the mouseover and is replaced on the mouse out
onmouseover{ img2.style.display = none; }
onmouseout{ img2.style.display = block; }

Hi all,
I have been working with a webcontrol that will render a IFRAME,
so I can copy/paste html code into it. So far I can do exactly that but
I can't read the contents from the IFRAME. Can anybody help?! Here is my
render code:
protected override void Render(HtmlTextWriter output)
{
output.Write( "" );
output.Write( "function document.onreadystatechange()" );
output.Write( "{" );
output.Write( "idContent.document.designMode='On'" );
output.Write( "}" );
output.Write( "" );
output.Write( "" );
}
how do I read the contents of the IFRAME?!

Has anyone come across this before. I have a page that has a simple button on it that when clicked sends the user to another page.
Response.Redirect("nextpage.aspx");
On a PC everything is fine. On a Mac only Netscape works properly. In IE the page goes blank and when I view source the header says it is the page I want but the body is completely empty. If I navigate to the page directly from the navbar everything is fine.

FYI for anyone interested.
The problem was the SmartNavigation directive on the destination page. Documentation says it is for IE 5 and above but I guess that doesn't mean Mac IE 5 and above. Curious that it worked on Netscape 4.7. Even more curious that the page could be navigated to directly but not redirected.

The first idea that comes to mind is to create a user control that reads the file into memory and outputs it to the buffer. There are a couple of examples around here.

How do you associate an icon with a web page? They do it on this website. In my Internet Explorer the little Code Project guy show in the address bar next the the page address. And the icon is associated with the link in my favorites menu. How do they do that?

Does anyone know how to set a charts dimmensions to -10 to 10 in both X and Y directions? I have only been able to set the Y direction to -10 to 10. Thanks in advance. I hate OWC for this, it is so damn annoying.

Hi there,
I have a problem of using LEFT function in my one of my ASP pages. I have a situation of searching the database using 5 fields and got to page the results. i am fine with paging when all fields are null. But to page results when one field is selected i used LEFT function in my database searching query. I am putting the code down here for better understanding.
if (res_name1="") and (bmdcode1="") and (asmcode1="") and (product_type1="") and (part_model1)="" then
search_query="select * from redcrs_mail"
Response.Write (search_query & " ")
else
search_query = "select * from redcrs_mail where"
if res_name1<>"" then
search_query = search_query & " res_name = '" & res_name1 & "' & and "
end if
if bmdcode1<>"" then
search_query = search_query & " bmdcode = '" & bmdcode1 & "'& and "
end if
if asmcode1<>"" then
search_query = search_query & " asmcode = '" & asmcode1 & "'& and "
end if
if product_type1<>"" then
search_query = search_query & " product_type = '" & product_type1 & "'& and "
end if
if part_model1<>"" then
search_query = search_query & " part_model = '" & part_model1 & "'& and "
end if
search_query = left(search_query,len(search_query)-6)
end if
search_query = left(search_query,len(search_query)-6)
I am trying to use the above line to suppress the 'and' word that appears at the end of the search_query string. But it says SQL statement not properly ended when i execute the page.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks in advance.

Well, it was better if you provide the final SQL statement that fails. But here is my thought.
What you mean by using "&" in your SQL statement? See, you are adding such thing:
part_model1 & "'<font color=red>&</font> and '"
I highlighted it in red. This shouldn't be in your SQL statment. "AND" enough

My system have dual O.S., Windows 98 SE and Windows XP Pro. They have PWS and IIS installed respectively.
For Windows XP, when browsing through http://localhost, I am having problems when clicking on certain asp links. It takes forever to show the page.
The situation does not occur on Win98. The page can be displayed properly.
Any idea on how to configure WinXP / IIS so that the page can be shown immediately?
Thanks and hope to hear from you ASAP.

Hey,
I also have WinXP Pro, and I have had this problem. Certain ASP pages that I have written do not load. All it does is hang.
I also have access to a Win2000 Server. I wrote a ASP page, and tried to load it on my WinXP Pro IIS, but it did not work. I loaded the same ASP page on the Win2000 Server machine and it loaded fine.
There is obviously a difference between the two servers. Any help please.

I solved the problem by disabling Norton AntiVirus's "Script Blocking". If you have NAV you can try this:
1. Bring up NAV menu by double-click on NAV icon on the taskbar and choose "Options".
2. Locate "Script Blocking" section and uncheck "Enable script blocking".
3. Restart windows and the ASP pages should work properly.

Thanks! It works now. I am running NAV with Script Blocking.

Patty,
I never could get that to work either. I will email you a small application that will do it. At least in Win2K allow-out-of-proc is set by default.
Hope this helps
