Do you have more than one textbox on the page? Is the submit button the first button in line? Is this 1.1 or 2.0?

hi friend
I too faced the same problem(posted in the forum too) but i couldnt make up by assigning any properties or coding.
What i did is, just cut all the other buttons(in case of WebControl button) leaving the button to be clicked while hitting 'Enter' and again pasted the other buttons in their position. This worked(meaning that Submit button has the prior tab index=0)
Or
In the textbox's KeyPress Event,check for the KeyCode(say 13 for Enter Key) and if so, call the button's click.
Try and let me know if you have any problem.

no not like that in this case you will get the prompt for the any postback and reload also

What you are asking for is not possible.
What you can do is to catch the onunload event in the body tag. This event is triggered whenever the page is unloaded, which happens if the window is closed, but also if the user navigates to a different page, or reloads the same page.
You can't directly determine the reason for the event, however, so you have to keep track of how the user navigates so that you can tell when he's leaving the page for some other reason.

Hi,
My application is running on framework 1.1 with no problems, but when I change the framework and make it 2.0 then application is not working properly. Some javascript part is not running also some pages are not displaying due to configuration error. Can you please inform me how to solve these framework compatibility bugs?

Can't tell what caused but only can gyuess check aspx page in Register tag you should have "CodeFile" instead of "CodeBehind"

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as just telling the app to use 2.0 - there are MANY changes between the frameworks, so you'd need to find out what they are, and change source code appropriately before it will ever work

Hello Every one !
i have 2 pages one of them is parent for other one
parent one contion a gridview when i click on grid child page is opening
i do editing on my record then i close page
but no thing is not happen to grid if i refresh page manual grid become refresh as i want
but i want to do it by closing child page
i open child page by this Code :

for close child i use this Code
opener.document.parent.submit();
window.close();
please help coz i cant do any thing with out refresh parent page
by the way if i can do it when i m closing page it is best
