How can I get the desired values, then ? What i want is doing custom handling for this like putting an icon for these files which when double clicked should open the files. Register your dialog as a drop target and see if this overrides the WB control's drag and drop handling. 2. I am wondering if customers who use our program that accesses MDB files via ADO needs to have MS Access purchased installed on their machine or not? If they do need to have MS Access installed to use our program, then that would severely limit the customers that we could sell the software to since many of them don't have MS Access. Also, what happens if the user does have MS Access but has a different version from the one that we distribute (e.g. they have MS Access 97 and we distribute a MS Access 2000 MDB). Is the only sol'n to that is to either distribute different versions of MS Access depending on what they have installed, or have ADO recreate the database? Thanks for any help! These text-objects are (at this moment) CRichEditCtrl's. I derived my own class from CRichEditCtrl, in which I do some neat stuff (like transparency etc). So far so good. A (very) nice feature to have in this application would be the ability to rotate these textobjects. Which means, in fact, I have to rotate the CRichEditCtrl itself, since CRichEditCtrl doesn't work with CFont/HFONT (Otherwise, I probably could do something with escapement). Does anyone knows a way to do this? There are probably some library's that'll do it for me, but I want to stick with CRichEditCtrl. (Unless you know a _very_ good library that does all other cool stuff like word-wrapping as well). I think it sucks if an application I wrote just deletes a (any) file, without leaving the user the ability to un-delete it. Although I'd understand you use DeleteFile if your application only write a temporary file (e.g. a spoolfile or whatever) to the 'Temp'-folder. After a long search the best I found is GUIgui from nopcode.com but the problem is there using a Lib to do that and the skins are in a separate file(s) that you have to add with your App Plus it’s all managed from an INI file . they have some samples but there full projects that you have to trace to find what you need. I only need to change three controls ( buttons, progress bar, Dialog frame(background) ). I think one way of doing it is to create a non-rectangular shape of the control and fill it with a bitmap , but this may only work for buttons.
