You can use AJAX to get updates from the server and then update the page without reloading it.

hi i have written code in xml to load ads to the adrotator control , the images are not changed so i added

then the page will refresh for every 5 seconds , but page was blinked (i mean visible,invisible )

I have this program that I'm trying to compile and it flags this error:
The type or namespace name 'src' could not be found(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I've tryed to look for a .dll called src I can't find it. It's only a folder called src that I find. Am I missing something?

when we using the ajax enabled project, there's a problem that we cannot share it in the network and cant be debugged. the following error shows when debugged from network,
"An error occurred loading a configuration file: Failed to start monitoring changes to 'Y:\F_AjaxEnab' because the network BIOS command limit has been reached. For more information on this error, please refer to Microsoft knowledge base article 810886. Hosting on a UNC share is not supported for the Windows XP Platform."
Y: is the drive which is mapped.
Pls give me a solution..

I'm trying to send an email from a website with mailmessage.
It works all fine, but...
Only 1 recipient will get the message.
Other recipients or cc's won't get delivered.
The recipient that gets the email can see in the header that the message is send to multiple recipients and cc's.
I'm sure the email adresses are correct. I tried sending them in the same domain, other domains etc...
When I send the message to a file, it also looks OK.
There are also no errors thrown.
What am I doing wrong ?

I am using session variable to store user's LoginID.In my case a user will login once in the morning and may keep on logged without logging out.During this case if the user is static for long time,session automatically expires after 20/30 minutes.In such case i have to find out if session is empty i have to redirect to login page.But i dont want the user to do that,and i don't want the session expired untill and unless i logout. Kindly help in retaining or refreshing the session variable.

The ASP.NET HttpSessionState class provides a useful IsNewSession( ) method that returns true if a new session was created for this request. The key to detecting a session timeout is to also look for the ASP.NET_SessionId cookie in the request. If this is a new session but the cookie is present, this indicates a timeout situation.

Hi,
i have one link button in .aspx page, if i click that link button it needs to redirect to some other page. But the problem is that it is not redirecting to that page. But if i am using Mozilla browser it is working.

What if you run the app, then attach the debugger to the asp.net process ?
