Hi,
I have this program that I'm trying to compile and it flags this error:
The type or namespace name 'src' could not be found(are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I've tryed to look for a .dll called src I can't find it. It's only a folder called src that I find. Am I missing something?

public src.controls.cont dngchart;
here is the line that has the error 'src' is a folder where 'control' folder is found and in control there are six .ascx files where by cont is one of the .ascx files.

It does not matter, in which foldere your class is, it matteres in which namespace it is

Hi,
I try to create a SoapExtensionAttribute, but when I try to add a web reference the SoapExtensionAttribute don't be insertede in a client proxy side, what I have to do to add the SoapExtensionAttribute in the client proxy side when I add the web refenrece.
ps.: I can't put the soapExtensionTypes in the app.config because in the current project has another web services from third-parties, and I implement a SFDE but don't work.
Any ideia?

I am currently migrating a web project to from Vs 2003 & .NET 1.1 to VS 2005 and .NET 2
For various reasons after the compile of the web project I need to copy all DLL's from the bin directory to an alternative location. Under VS 2003 this was simple and has been working for years.
However it would seem that amoungst all the other changes, this has also changed under VS 2005. The primary DLL for the web project is no longer found in the bin directory (although references are). Does anybody know where it is?

Pretty sure it's wherever you told it to put the website (\inetpub\wwwroot\...\bin, etc.)
Of course, that's only if it's pre-compiled; otherwise, it doesn't exist 'till the ASP.NET runtime gets around to creating it.

You would have thunk, however for code behind that isnt the case.
After some hunting around it seems what actually happens is that each of the cs files in the app_code directory is compiled to its own dll. Interestingly this dll name is not fixed and on each compile it changes. This might not be entirely correct, information is sketchy to say the least.
Now this is all well and good for a web app that uses all the typical Microsoft mechanism for build, release and install however it is an utter show stopper for what I am doing.
Having said all that, all is not lost. VS2005 SP1 reintroduces the .Net 1.1 style "ASP .NET Web Project" which compiles to a single DLL in the bin directory. A lo the crowd went wild.

that's where one finds an object and I think It's a graph because the
code looks like this.

I'm having a lot of trouble getting this bit of javascript to work:

I want the user to be about to type text into a text box, hit enter and have what they typed added to a list box. All this is inside an AJAX updatepanel. Right now when you type in the text box no characters are placed in the text box, but when you press enter the appropriate button is pressed, but it does not refocus on the text box. Any idea why I can't type anything into the box and how do I move focus back to the text box? Also is there an easier way to refer to runat=server controls in javascript then to go to view source and find the big ugly id that gets generated?
btw, where it says "removed" it is supposed to say onkeydown, but CP changes it for some reason.

The window.event object only exists in Internet Explorer (and perhaps some that tries to emulate it), so this won't work in most browsers. Other brosers send the event objec along as a parameter to the function.
Do you get any error message? Have you enabled Javascript error messages in the browser?
You can use the ClientID property of a control to get the id to use for client script.

The IE part is fine, this is an internal application and all the computers here run IE. Obviously I would like to make it cross platform if it doesn't take too long, you know deadlines. Is there any easier way to make pressing enter click a button?

By default, the enter key will activate the first submit button in the form.

I use the Microsoft IE Developer toolbar. It allows you to select an element and view all it's attributes etc, including ids. It's also got some useful tools, such as a ruler, and a table entity highlighter.
I'd suggest not using the new beta one - there's nothing wrong with it per-se, but it crashes sometimes on my machine, and never stays in the toolbar - have to re-enable it ever time I need it. Unfortunately, I could only find links to the new one. If you can't find it, email me and I'll send you the installer for the old stable one
Firefox also has a (much better) version of the same kinda deal....

Hi All,
I have to disable right of the Browser.I got the script on net and use that but when I include it in .js file my application doesnot work it shows login screen where right click is disable but when I click login but it doesnt go inside the main page.
Can anyone tell me what is the problem in the script.
