I didn't get u..i used the MFC wizard to create the project and in project settings I have "Use MFC as a shared dll"...do i need to make anymore settings other than those??
I have included #include "stdafx.h" in all the .cpp files instead of #include <afxwin.h> is it due to this?

i don't see anything wrong in what you say. but anyway, check the settings of your project (even if you created it with MFC dynamically linked), and check if the correct MFC lib is linked (mfc42 with VC++6, mfc70 with VS.NET 2002, mfc71 with VS.NET 2003, mfc80 with VS2005)

where r v supposed to giv that mfc42 linking?? mine is vc++6 ..... actually i am new to vc++ so i donno wher to giv those settings..

i said look in your project settings... (right click on your project, and find the linker settings there)

Iam getting two linker errors,when i compile Flashplayer7sdk,

The CBaseRenderer-constructor was not found when trying to link SAFlashPlayer.exe.
Why that is and how to go about it I have no clue.
When you have a project-file, you could try to set Linker - General - Show-Progress to "Verbose" in the project properties.
Maybe that gives you a clue.
And reposting again and again would not give us miraculouly more ideas how to help you.

That is not the same error i got previously,
At first i got 11 linker errors and i reduced it to 2 errors which is different from now what iam getting,thats y i posted it seperately to prevent confusions.

Hi!!!
In my application, I want to create one dialog box. Which contain 2 small box.
One box will contain name of the components and second box will show preview of the selected component.
Like..Box1 contain.
1.Vessel.
2.Tank.
3.Pump.
4.Nozzle.
5.Exchanger.
6.Fan.
Box 2..
Which show preview of the selected item. like if I will select Fan from the box 1 then it will show me Symbol(.dwg ) of the Fan.
I have collected all symbol (.dwg) for all components..
Now my question is..
1. How can I insert my all .dwg ( autocad drawing)..I.e. which method or class should i used for insert the drawing in my application.
2.How can i show preview ?? Any class or method??

do you have a translator of some sort to read those .dwg files ? i.e. can you read those files yourself ?
if not, I suggest loading them up in a software that can read those files and export them as bitmaps.
Once that is done, look and search CodeProject for articles that show you how to load and display an image in a static control.

Yeh.. i can read that file coz i have created such a symols..its approximately 100 .dwg file. but is it to load and display lots of image ( appro 100 ) ??

Hi,
Im new to MFC.I want to display a tab control just above the status bar if visible else just above the window border in a SDI application when the application is maximised.
I tried GetClientRect of view on OnInitialUpdate n displaying the tab just above the client bottom.But it didnt worked out as the rectangle returned here is not same as the rectangle returned in case when the window is maximised.
How can i overcome this problem?

Hai,
I have coded programs in VC++ which use information stored in some form or the other. Most programs use .mdb . A few programs used info stored in .dat files.
Would .mdb and .dat be called as database used. I know for sure that MySql would be called database.
If I have to mention in my Resume, the database I have used in the programs that I have developed, will it be correct to put .mdb and .dat ?

No. Mention that you've worked with databases. That would be appropriate.

If you have to question this, I would hesitate mentioning anything about database experience. Nothing's worse than having your bluff called (in an interview).

You should be able to use the SERVICE_CONTROL_INTERROGATE control code.
