Sure.
Now have the EXE itself check, and if first time, modify the registry to programmatically
execute those steps.
It is not difficult at all.
Now the user simply has to double click the EXE once, after that he can double click
either the EXE or one of the application's data files.

hi
i create a masterPage and draw some tables and now i want to use <marquee> in my masterpage but it's not supported this tag and show me this error : in xhtml 1.1 the tag <marquee> is not permitted
how to use <marquee> in my MasterPage ?
i using ExpressionWeb.

because marquee isn't part of the XHTML specifications because its an extremely bad and extremely annoying "feature"

The marquee tag has never been part of any html standard at all.
Despite the obvious aesthetic considerations, you can choose to use it anyway. It might work in some browsers, but as it's not part of the standard, any browser can choose to ignore it.

I have the help requested event set on my form only, but the event is firing one time for the control selected and for each container the control is in.
ie form with a button on it and the button focused fires the event twice. Put the button inside a groupbox and the event fires three times. Etc.
The problem is that if my help document is missing instead of one error message, i get multiple error messageboxes displayed. The sender is always the form object so I can't screen that way. Is there an option I'm not seeing that would allow me to prevent the multiple fires, or do I need to find a way to suppress the multiple messagebox.show() calls within my help controller class.

There is a Handled property on the HelpEventArgs passed into your HelpRequested event handler - just set Handled = true to prevent the event from continuing down the chain. The behaviour you are seeing is by design.

You can right click on the toolbox to see a list of items there, and you can then add it from there.

For over a year now I have used "Media Player Classic" because it has
a very good set of command line arguments. I renamed it to MPC.exe and
initiate it in this manner.

Look in the SQL Server documentation for BACKUP and RESTORE. Then call the appropriate commands using SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery();

My application is converting .doc, .xls, .pdf files to .pdf. I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 running for the conversion. This is an automated process. Sometimes if the file is created in 7.0 and the program tries to convert the file it fails because there is a messagebox saying that the version is a newer or most times it simply fails. Is there a way to check in the code if this file is created in a higher version they don't attempt on converting the file.

PDF files are binary files; they do however start with 8 ASCII characters indicating the
PDF version they adhere to. Example: %PDF-1.3 (remark: no terminating null)
So you might check for a specific version or version range before trying to process a PDF file.

I wonder what are things I can put in XML in regular C# code, variable names maybe, guess not, but what can we use it for?
Files path for resource files, or something like that, what is use of XML in regular Windows program, hope this isn't wrong room... btw?
Can I put user data for example some options settings instead of con fig or registry?
Can I put some user input like user list or use it like small data-base file?

You can basically put anything you want in XML, the Extensible part of Extensible Markup Language.

I did but there are so menu things don't know where to begin... even MSDN is very confusing on that... most articles talk about Word or SQL... don't need neither right now...

Almost any XML book I know of is not on specific topic like What should I do with XML in my .net C#, program or something... beside not much choice on that topic here... I'll look around on-line instead I guess...
