Rmesh wrote: and the first line that was page directive was shown and marked by yellow color
I just created a new web project just to check something - The page directive is marked in yellow. Not becuase of an error, but because the page directive is always marked in yellow.

Ambiguous match found
Then you have to find what it thinks is ambiguous.
If it is the page directive then do you have two or more Book.aspx.cs files? Do you have more than one class with the name Indocan.Book?
What else did the error message tell you?

Do you, by any chance, have a public/protected variable that is the same name as a public property but in different case? For instance:
public int x;
public int X
{
get { return this.x; }
set { this.x = value; }
}
This would cause this error. While C# is case sensitive, ASP.NET needs to take case sensitive/insensitive identifiers into account.

Ah... Now we know why it was saying something was ambiguous, you had two things with the same name. Nothing to do with the page declaration line at all then.

I think this might help... Check your permission level of that directory...
Cause
This error usually happens on Windows NT, Windows 2000 or Windows XP and may be caused by any of the following conditions:
- the database file or database folder doesn’t have necessary security permissions to write to, or erase an .ldb file created by Microsoft Access when opening the database
- the database file doesn't have sufficient security permissions or write permissions to be modified when updating data in it. The web browser is seen by the web server as a Internet User that has the server account IUSR. This user needs to have write permission to the database file and to the database folder.
Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
1. Use Windows Explorer to find the folder on the disk, which contains the database file (.mdb). This is usually your project folder.
2. Right-click on the project folder and select Properties.
3. Uncheck the Read-only property.
4. Click on the Security tab in the properties window.
(Attention: If you don't see such tab (Windows XP), close the properties window, open any folder, select Tools -> Folder Options -> View, and uncheck the option Use simple file sharing.)
5. Click Add and find, then select the user IUSR_<COMPUTERNAME>.
6. Select the Write checkbox in the Allow; column to assign Write permissions to the IUSR account.
More Info
After being fixed, this error may reoccur when compacting the MS Access file since the database file being compacted is being erased and a new one is created in its place.

I think you should try explain what you are trying to achieve, as your question doesn't actually make sense.

People give their time and expertise here freely. They give answers when they have time to do so. If you have not got an answer, it is because:
a) The people who know the answer haven't read your question
b) They read it, but didn't understand your question
c) Nobody knows the answer to your question.
d) People are suspicious of posts that include urgent anywhere. This smacks too much of homework.
Putting urgent in won't get your question answered any quicker, and may annoy/aggravate people.

Hi,
I want to query an index server catalog through an asp/asp.net page.
I want to search by filename, e.g., if someone searches for blood_pressure,
then any file name containing blood_pressure in its name should show up.
In SQL we could use the where clause, i.e. where filename like '%blood_pressure%'
My catalog object is Q and I refer to its properties by Q.xxxxxxxx
Can you please tell me how I can get this effect from my Q object?
Thanks.

I have a fancy asp:RegularExpressionValidator with this ValidationExpression:
"^([0-9a-zA-Z _+-.*()&#%':!])+$"
How do I change it so newlines are allowed in the associated multiline textbox?
I have tried adding "\n" here and there, but it still doesn't work
Guess newline is called something else or that I'm adding it in a wrong place.
Thanks.
