I ride on the back of my husband's motorcycle. Does that count? I won't let him go over 90, but I suspect he does more when I'm not around. He had to change something to get past the rev limiter which I'm sure doesn't max out at 90. Baaad husband! He promised me he would behave when I let him buy it.

My bike used to max out at 187 MPH before I started "tinkering" with it. I am seriously thinking about getting a turbo kit for it. Now that would be a rush!

What kind of bike does he have? If he has a turbo he's definitely going faster than 90 MPH.

I didn't really know what he did to it. So I had to call him and ask. He was very paranoid because I've never shown any interst. He asked "why are you putting an add in the paper or something?" But he gave up the info anyways. He has a Harley 2000 Dyna Glide. He said something about a chrome kit and an engine chrome kit. He changed the cams, the jets and I think the carborator. He changed the (to a?) thunder header. He added a chrome front end and he changed the blinkers. He said something about screaming eagle heads. He added front foot pegs. He added a removable sissy bar. I insisted. He was not allowed to take my 8 year old on the freeway. But since he refuses to follow my rules I made him get a sissy bar. He changed the seat, but I make him put the origional one back on when we go for long trips. He likes the look of the new one, but the origional is infinitly more comfortable for me. The new one cuts off the blood supply to my butt and everytime we hit a bump it kills. We bought it for $13,750. It's worth $20,000 now. The only thing he's currently trying to get approved (by me) is new handle bars. He wants them higher ones.
Oh and he got past the rev limiter by adding a programable engine module.

Sounds like he has been pretty busy adding stuff.
I understand about that, I don't think I could ever go fast enough to satisfy myself.
My bike does 0 - 120 MPH in less than 6 seconds, but I wish it were faster.
I'm a true speed freak and not going to even mention my 550HP, supercharged '92 Mustang coupe.

I selected running and entered Pool/Billiards. I guess that latter isn't really all that physically taxing

You're preaching to the choir, mate. I've played for days on end at 10-12 hours per. However, I realize that most people don't realize the physical demands so I don't even try to convince them because they won't understand unless they've been there.

Funny thing is that the first time I saw that movie I didn't realize how true that stuff was (the gambling, shady characters, dark pool rooms, etc.) It's all still true today. The main differences being that the lingo has changed somewhat and instead of alcohol being the drug of choice to keep going it's coke or crank. (A point well made in the movie Color of Money).

I used to play ~16 hours a day every day. I haven't played much since I moved out of state. I play sometimes with friends but it isn't the same at all ;( I guess I'm just too competitive. BTW, do you ever play Virtual Pool 3? I wouldn't mind playing a few sets some day. If you haven't played this game you really should invest the $15, it is WELL worth it.

I've never played that one. VP3 is _VERY_ realistic. You can try a demo and it is only like $15 since it has been out for a while. If you end up getting the full game let me know and we can play some.

Great list. However, it probably depends on many factors:
- Who you're playing. If I'm playing Johnny I'm going to be doing a lot of sitting and racking
- What game is being played. Playing a very slow chess match like one-pocket is going to be much less taxing physically than playing 9-ball, which is a much faster-paced game
- How much time is spent playing and how much time is spent woofin'
