Hi guys
I have one serious problem. I am developing one project in which i have to write logic in different project (ClassLibrary) and GUI is in my website.
When i am adding both projects in one blank solution then it is not working properly. I am also adding reference of my class library i.e. DLL file in my web site. So when i make changes in Class Library then it is not reflected directly but i have to open that class library in different visual studio application and then i have to build that and then i am getting the changes that i have done in that solution.
Help me if anyone knows it.

Hi Dear,
you have to right click on solution add new webSite and you can add forms in that.
Now right click on solution , add new project in that select Class library..
here you are...

Open your web projectsolution file -> right click solution in the solution explorer -> go to Add -> goto Existing Project then select the aproprite classlibrary project

I have done like this:

Form1.ddl_category.add(i) or Form1.ddl_category.value=i;
}
But i got error.

You can add the value to the dropdownlist like this:
var dd = document.getElementById("DropDownList1");<br />
dd.options[1].text = "kaushal";<br />
dd.options[1].value = "1";

Hi
Up to now I have used Visual Studio 2003 to do my Web Application development. When I wanted to open a web app I could just go to Inetpub\wwwroot - and double click on the project file in the Web Apps folder to open the project for editing/developing. I have moved over to Visual Studio 2005 in this week and created a test web app on the //localhost. When I go to the web app's folder in Inetpub\wwwroot, I do not see a project file. The only way I could find to open the project for editing was to open Visual Studio 2005 editor and click on the app under 'Recent Projects'. When I need to copy the project to go and work on it on another development computer I would not be able to do that. Where is the project file kept?

The WebSite 2005 template does not use the project file, with VS 2005 you'll more options than VS 2003 to open a web site. If you want the project file, you might want to check out the WebProject 2005 template[^]

How do you open it from within Visual Studio 2005? I used Open Web Project and went to the website folder in Inetpub\wwwroot, but there was no file that I could see that Visual Studio 2005 would open.

In the dialog, if you choose the File System on the left pane then you can simply select the folder of the web application to open it. If you choose Local IIS, you can select the web site in the website tree to open it. For more information, you can see Choose Location Dialog Box [^]

Yes If you want to see your Web Project files VS 2005 create a folder of your application name at your local drive please see the local drive

Hi all,
I was looking for the solution to add header in each page of print when trying to print the data grid, and I found the following code from a forum:
function print_header()

var table = document.getElementById("dgResults"); // the id of your DataGrid
var str = table.outerHTML;
str = str.replace(//i, "");
str = str.replace(/<tr");
="" ="" str="str.replace(/<\/tr">/i, "");
table.outerHTML = str;

It is working very fine except not printing the Top border of header after first page. The second, third and consequent pages printing header without top border.
Can anyone help me to find out whats wrong and how to fix?
