Hi all,
i'm a newbie in the coding world. Now i'm facing with a trouble that how can i collect all window class name kinds (like WindowsForms10.Window.8.0.2bf8098,WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.2bf8098, WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.1,WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.2..etc.). Because i have a capture tool and i want to map the windows or controls have winclass and wintype with myself definition class like the example below:
winclass wintype myclass
Ex: WindowsForms10.BUTTON.appb checkbox checkbox
But my problem is the <hexappdomainhash> element ('appb' in above example) in window class name form maybe change,it's not stable. So i cannot have the general way in my mapping.
Have anyone please show me where i can collect all of window class name kinds?

Hi, I have started using .Nets GDI drawing library, and I was wondering if its possible to draw things to a graphics object in layers.
Photoshop and Gimp allow drawing to various layers and then combining them into a single layer/image, and I want to know if anything similar in .Net is supported? I am looking for the ability to draw various shapes etc onto a given layer, and then switch that layer on or off.
For example, imagine I want to draw a dynamic map. It has a JPG image as the background, a second layer with place names, and then a third layer showing road routes. I want the user to be able to toggle the place names on or off.
Any tips / advice appreciated.

Maybe you should look at VG.Net (see sig). I use it for something a bit similar, and i like it a lot! (it ain't free though..)
(Hope it's ok to 'advertise' for a product i like and use, i'm not affiliated with VG or something)

Hi all,
(I apologise if this is not the correct message board to ask this. )
My question:
How can I make the MSMQ service reconnect immediately after it detects that the connection has been terminated?
Let me clarify:
I have a computer A that sends MSMQ messages to a computer B. Sometimes the connection to computer B goes out (maybe due to network issues, maybe something else - it is not relevant to my question). The problem is that it takes computer A 1 or 2 minutes  before it even tries to reestablish connection to B.
I need computer A to reestablish connection as soon as posssible. How could I do that? Is there a registry setting that I should change? I understand that MSMQ is not the fastest protocol, but I still think a 1 or 2 minute delay is too much.
Edit: Both computers have Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.

I don't think that people appreciate being used to prep you for interviews. If you are going for an interview and you are asked about these things, the interviewer is looking to see that you have an understanding of these technologies and that you know how to apply them - not somebody else knows about them.
Also, your first port of call should be the articles and/or google. Don't expect people to take the time to craft detailed replies to questions that have been done elsewhere in great detail. I appreciate that the language may be a bit of a barrier, but I can't believe that you cannot find answers in a plain enough fashion elsewhere.
Anyway - good luck with the interview.

First of all, your subject, ".NET Framework and C# Basic Doubts", is does not express what you really mean. Secondly, you have a multi-part request for term definitions in plain english for forthcoming job interviews. Repeating memorized term definitions might fool a HR person; however, an analyst or a developer will dig deeper and reveal your lack of knowledge and experience.

If you haven't used them, you won't understand them, so my advice is not to go for that specific job.
I would see straight through you, if you came to my interview with only a limited knowledge. This seems to be a job for a senior developer, if you don't know the answers to the question then you should apply for a junior position

IMHO, the projects you have worked on carry more weight than knowing some generic terms. When talking among fellow developers, knowing the jargon is helpful. However, talking the jargon with your customer is poison. If you focus on doing, the terminology will come naturally.

I developed an Add-in for Outlook 2003 with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite.
My solution was created via:
Other Project Types -> Extensibility -> Shared Add-in
And I selected support for Microsoft Outlook.
Question 1:
I uncheched all the "Exclude" option of the assemblies in the Setup Project and builded it successfully.
The Add-in installed and ran well in another computer which had also VS 2005 Team Suite on it. However, on a third computer, which only had .NET Framework 2.0 but not VS 2005, the Add-in installed normally but did not load when Outlook started. What's the problem?
Question 2:
My CommandBarButton runs only a few times.
I added a CommandBarPopup to the Main Menu and then added a MsoControlType.msoControlButton to the popup. In the ClickEventHandler of the button, a Windows Form object is created and shown.
The problem is, each time I start Outlook, the button is available for only a few times, usually 2-3 times, sometimes only once. Afterwards it becomes unavailable at all. It gives no response when I click it.

I begin to believe that it has something to do with the developing environment. I tried the Add-in on two computers without VS2005 and got the same result, which is that the Add-in did not load. However, I tried it on another two computers WITH VS2005 on them and the Add-in loaded successfully.
Any hint?

What did you actually Exclude? If they were Excluded by defaulot, there must be a valid reason, try un-excluding the files for the setup.

I meant, let the excluded files remain excluded. Don't include them. Some files have to be excluded.

I have a Legacy ASP app that uses the Telnet port to connect to user's email accounts. When I load the .NET Framework 2.0 (.NET 1.1 is already on the server) the app is no longer able to use the Telnet port. Any suggestions?
