Hi all,

I am creating an dynamic page , in that page there will be 3 (for example) div layers, each layer has it's contents such as calender, link, news likw this. The admin of this site can change the menu(Div layer) order, assume that Calender is place 1 and Link in place 2 and News in place 3, if the admin drag the div layer 3(News) over the div layer 1(calender) and drop there means, the oreder should changed as News is place 1 and Calender in place 2 and Links in place. I found solution for drag and drop, but i cant able to get an idea for the dragover or replacing the position. Plz can any one suggest me to how to do this using javascript??

Example:

Positon 1:
Calender

Positon 2:
Link

Positon 3:
News

After drag and drop of News on the Calender position the apperance should become like this:

i want to trap keypress event in textbox control in asp.net with c#. i.e. if user press wrong key that key didn't work. only those keys work hows works is defined.

You can't do that using ASP.NET. The keypress occurs on the client computer, so you have to use client script, i.e. Javascript.

i don't know much about javascript help me how can i use javascript.
or can i use custome validater with client side codeing but problem i can't trape keypress event.

Hi All! I've a problem with displaying caption.For example I've a label showing "Please Select Class Name". When the browser window is resized the text moves down & looks ugly. How to fix this?

hi may be this is the problem of your td width.remove the width of the td from aspx page.perhaps now it will not wrap.

There are tons of source code to do this all over the web. I recommend building your own using recursion. It's good practice, and it really doesn't take long to write.

Hi,

I think you must use PlaceHolder control how container. For example:

hi,

I am using asp.net1.1. i am using IE treeview web control.
In the page load method of codebehind file(C#) i am constructing the tree from DB.

i have a submit button where user can update nodedata into DB. When the user clicks the submit button i want the tree to be constructed with the new update values.
if i press F5 then i can see the updated value. without pressing F5, how can the tree be updated.

i mean when the submit button is pressed i want to execute the event(submit_click) first then the page_load should be executed.how can i achieve it.

You can't. The Page_Load event always occurs before any control events.

Any code that you want ececuted after the control events, you can put in Page_PreRender instead.

I have tried to use VS2005 wizard to convert this project, but the page converted still
looks like ASP.NET 1.1 page. It's different with ASP.NET 2.0 page.
So, I want know any tool for help.

If you ran the conversion, and it opens in 2005, it's converted.

It's not going to happen. It's not a magic trick. It converts the code, not the layout.

Did anyone try to run some ASP.NET 2.0 apps with IIS7 on Windows Vista (build 5744)?
In my case an existing application perfectly working with IIS5 and IIS6, with IIS7 has problems, particularly with query strings parameters, MultiViews and Response.Redirects.
Does anyone has some advice?
