Only if you have the source code and can add the appropriate code to make the .EXE you want, either a console app or a Windows Forms app.
If you don't have the source for the .DLL, it's impossible to do. You're only option is to write an .EXE wrapper application around the functionality exposed by the .DLL.

Sir,
In C++ exe we knows that there is a main() .So Window knows where to execute the code in the c++ output exe, I mean there is a starting point , that is the execution will take place from the main().Now my queston is , In the Vb.Net What is the starting point.I mean From which point the exe will execute the code.

One of your members doesn't support something that's after it. What's the rest of the error message? It'll tell you which method is failing. All you have to do is look back one period and you'll find the object that doesn't support the method you're trying to call.
For example, it's possible that the Sections collection, which returns a Session object, doesn't have a Controls property. This is just an example. Since you only supplied the one line of code, it's impossible to tell what these objects are.

You might want to ask this in the Mobile Development forum. I don't do mobile apps, yet anyway, but it should be no different than doing it on a normal desktop machine.

You would have to change your Windows Theme for that. Even then, the buttons wouldn't be the same on another computer.

At the very least, you'd have to supply your own code to draw the buttons. You'd have to inheirt from the Button class and override the Paint method, supplying the drawing code to draw the button in both the raised and pushed states. This has the added advantage of not being dependant on the machine having a theme installed.

This might see might seem like a silly question, but I have never deployed a VB.Net application. My application has a database and the connection string
for that database is
"Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename=
C:\Documents and Settings\Me\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\test1\test1\Database1.mdf;
Integrated Security=True;User Instance=True"
Now when I go to deploy my application and put it on another persons computer will the database still be there
even though the connection string ties it to the My Documents folder on my C: drive?

It will still be on your machine - yes, but not on the user's machine 
Why don't you use some non user specific path like D:/Data or even better, store it in a folder under your application like
C:/program files/app name/Data
And in app.config, use "data\Database1.mdf" as the DB name and pre fix that with the application path?
When you are creating the installation package, you can instruct the installer to create the directory named "Data" under your application path and copy the database to it.

i am using the installer class to do the registration of dlls and creation of type library.
what i want to do is, in case there is some exception in Process.Start() or if the RegAsm.exe is unavailable/corrupt etc. then the whole installation process must be rolled back.

The error appears to be generated by a problem with the quotes between ...Image and CByte...
|

As pointed out, the error is because you are trying to concat a string and an image. What you need to do is convert the image into byte array and insert it into the database field. If you google for that, you should be OK.

I am trying to add a month view calendar that will display the time and description of the event within each day (using VB.NET 2005). My current attemt is to draw a series of rectangles and place text within each. I am able to create my calendar, put the day inside each box...so the calendar is there. My problem is placing a label, text, etc. within each box to display the event. I would also need to be able to double-click the item and open a form containg the detail for the item. If someone could point me in the right direction (even if it means starting over and taking a new path) I would greatly appreciate it.
