Can anyone please tell me how to pass the imageUrl of a ImageButton through Querystring to another WebForm and assign it as the ImageUrl of the ImageButton placed there?

what you need to do is append the imageURl to the current URL like this:
string str = "../webform1.aspx?IURL=" + "imageURl";
Response.Redirect(str);
to get the imageURl from the querystring:
str = request.querystring["IURL"].tostring();

Ya ... i do know that
I tried in the same manner.
But when i set the QuerySTring to the ImageUrl of the ImageButton in the popup form,its not displaying the image.
When i checked the string,it was not in the format of filepath.It looked like a series of string...
Like "DImagesOne.jpg" instead of "D:\Images\One.jpg"
Thats the problem..

Use "D:\\Images\\One.jpg" in place of "D:\Images\One.jpg".

We are developing an web application. Now we have a situation like, we need to give the BUILD for testing team but this BUILD should not have in going (in progress) developmental activites. For example, a developer is adding some controls in the "AddEmployee.aspx", but testing build should have the previous version of the "AddEmployee.aspx". We are using VSS for our project. Please help us.

Most of the projects are facing this situation. I suggest you to have different versions for test and production in the VSS. Otherwise it is difficult during the build for test and production.

First of all you have to write connection string for both sql server.Then write "insert into tablename" query for both connection string.But make sure,you have to open one sql server connection at a time.For example write
ConnectionString for first server

Hi,
I have a User Control which contains a Link Button. This Link Button is supposed to redirect a user to another webform as well as hide certain other link buttons on the same User Control.
The problem is that the Link Button in the User Control MUST be in a FORM tag with "Runat='server'". When I run the program, I am told that there must only be ONE form tag on a page.
Admittedly there is a FORM tag on the webform which is linked to the User Control. So BOTH the User Control AND the Active Webform HAVE FORM tags, which is apparently NOT allowed.
Any ideas on how to bypass this issue?

What i can tell you is remove the form tag from the user control and then place the user control(without form tag) inside the form tag in the webform.

I had thought of that.. but I really need the Link Button to be in the User Control rather than in the Webform because the Link Button is a part of a long list of other Link Buttons which control the whole site.
In anycase, I have decided to use asp:Hyperlink instead of asp:LinkButton seeing as the asp:Hyperlink does NOT require to be place inside a tag.

There is no need of using datagrid for moving to next records or retrieving the records into datagrid.
You can have a look at the following code, it will help u out of your problems:

I think in this case only the last record will be displayed in the textboxes. What i will suggest you is to put the dataset in viewstate and then navigate it.

Yes , you have to make modification to your code because your FOR loop is not coded properly.
The code which you have written in for loop is getting executed multiple of times.So, Try to do debugging.
and also let me know why you want to use both datareader and dataset for retrieval of next and previous records.
and yes u can use both of them.
If you dont want to use session then u can make use of label control(Server)
and assign 0(Zero) to it and if you dont want to show it(label) to user then you can hide it by setting its visible property to false.
So have a look at this code and make changes to it as per your requirements.
If lbl1.Text <= ds.Tables(0).Rows.Count - 1 Then
txtretrieve.Text = ds.Tables(0).Rows(lbl1.Text)("ShipName") 'retrieves values into the textbox using datasets

Hi
Am having a Imagebutton whose ImageUrl is to be set from a field in database.
How to set to ImageUrl using a string(contains Filename of the image) from db.
Also,
Am having two imagebuttons ,but only one function which will be fired when either of the button is clicked.How to know which imagebutton has been clicked?(i need this because on clicking the image the ImageUrl of the imagebutton should be passed to another WebForm as QueryString)
