Then you know that the error has nothing to do with sending html mail.
Is the mail address that you are using as from address registered on the mail server? Most mail servers only allow their own users to send mail through it.

I have a array of file names to be added to a Crystal report. The array size changes. So one option i have is to bind the array to the Formula Feild or to add formula feilds (for that matter any type of fields) to an existing crystal report from the program.
Is there any way to do either of this

create two dropdownlist as "ddlParent" and "ddlChild".
Populate the "ddlParent" using

Now in the selectedIndexChanged event of the "ddlParent" you will implement the code that will fill the "ddlChild".

hi everybody,
i tried to send email message from an asp.net application using following code
imporrts system.web.mail

this is the code which i was used. in some machines, this works very nicely;
but in some machines i got some error;
"Send Using configuration is Invalid"
and in some other machines i got the message like this--->
"Could not access CDO Message Object"
can anyone say how to solve this problem;

If the server where you are running this doesn't have SMTP activated, you have to specify what SMTP server to use.

Hi,
Am trying to add tabstrip control to my page. I have put the microsoft.web.ui.dll into the appli/bin/ folder. Then, webctrl_client folder has been added to the wwwroot/appli/ folder. I could create the tabstrip in design time. But, when I run it, data is displayed as lines. The same is true even if I put a treeview.
After seeing some forums on the internet, I have put the below lines in web.config.

<configsections>
<microsoftwebcontrols>
<add key="CommonFiles" value="c:/inetpub/wwwroot/MultiPageTree /webctrl_client/1_0/">
Still, its not working.
I referred to the ViewSource and it has "MultiPageTree/webctrl_client/1_0/tabstrip.htc" referred.
Am unable to find any solution as I have spent couple of days on this.
Am using 2003 version of .net (framework 1.1)

Am trying to dynamically build a tab, multipage and pageview

Error: TargetID does not point to a valid PageView
the tab.TargetID has to be set to pv.(something).
can somebody help me on this?

Do you want to access the application from another system, if so then you just give the system_name in place of localhost.

If it's in same network just give IPAddress of the system that you are accessing in place of localhost
Otherwise copy the whole project and paste in some other system
Create Virtual Directory for the project so that it maps physical directory
and run web application . Make sure that Webinfo path is correct

Ok, it's really hard!
I have a Asp.Net 2.0 Menu control with non-databound items. By example: Insert, Update, Delete, etc.
Then, I wish what when click in "Delete" menu item, appears one javascript alert before the postback (the MenuItens are handled by postback and not by NavigateUrl).
How I can do to this work? Here is the Sample menu:
