It's not possible to edit the registry in DOC mode using the stuff that comes with XP. You have to have some kind of utility that runs in DOS mode to edit the registry. I'm not aware of any utility that does this.
Also, let me get this straight... You want to boot the machine to a command prompt BEFORE Windows starts, standby the machine, then wake it up and finish booting Windows?? Is this correct?
Why on earth would you want to do this?

YES~
the idea just for testing M/B if system could resume well. this may reduce testing time......just an idea and wish it works !!

The support built into the M/B is only part of the Suspend/Resume solution. The other parts comes from the CPU and O/S. Without the full support being tested, I don't see how the test is valid.

Hi, I use this command: dsadd ou "ou=Test, DC=Example, DC=Com" to create an OU name Test in Example.com domain controller. And now I want to create OU name Test1 in OU Test that I just create. I try this command dsadd ou "ou=Test1, DC=Example, DC=Com" but when I view in AD computer and user, I found Test OU and Test1 OU reside in the same level.
So, how could I use the command line to create OU within an OU that I just created?

Hi, when we click Ok button to shutdown button. We could not start the other program because windows prepare to shutdown. But when after we click Ok but shutdown windows, we always hear the sound play (this sound could configure in control panel) when windows in the progress of shutdown.
From here, I would like to know which program or system that play the sound when the system is prepare to shutdown?

Thank you for your answer. On the other hand, could we write any software attach with the Windows Shell? Because I heard some question that some people would like to run some program when after you click Ok button to shutdown the computer.

You can attach it to the Logoff portion of the event using the Logoff script that was pointed out. But, once the logoff is completed, you can't launch anything else. The Loader stops working during shutdown.

Thank you very much for your comment, but anyway could we delay the period of logoff process?

You wanna do WHAT? I hope you're not serious about that. Sorry, I'm not waiting around 5 more minutes to shut down Windows...
The only place you do that is in the Logoff script. There is no shutdown script.

I WANT TO RUN THE PROGRAM AFTER I PRESS OK BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE WINDOWS. I ALREADY ASK IN THE FIRST POST.

I'm not asking you to wait for. I just want to do by myself.

Whoa!! Back up the bus!!
I was referring to the "5 minute video" example. If you want people to wait 5 minutes to shut down Windows, you're going to have a bunch of pissed off clients.
The question still stands - What do you want to do in the Logoff? You can't do anything between Logoff and Shutdown.
