Hi~~~~~,everyone:
I want to let a treeview node automatically expand when i check its checkbox. Also, when it expand it should execute the expand event solution code in the severside to find its child nodes. It means how could i write code to call the expand event in treeview.check event. Is there anyone could help me. I'm using the follow code in my website to send/receive e-mails:

In MailMessage.To, I place myself mail, and works very fine when I receive feedbacks in the site. But I wish use the same code to send e-mail to another persons, (like password reminders). The code works fine, none exceptios are throwed but the mail is not received!!! What's wrong? Someone can help me?

Hi All,
How can we show a selected directory path from web server?
I need all possible drives and directories of server to be dispalyed in a tree structure using ASP.Net and c#. by selecting a directory from the tree the directory path need to be displayed in a text box.
I am new to ASP.Net 2.0. please help in this regard.

Howdy
I have an arraylist that I bind to a datagrid and display on a webpage
On the webpage, the header on the datagrid has a column header of ITEM
I'm trying to change this display the correct name, but can't figure it out.
I've looked at examples for tablespace and it seems complicated and I'd need major rewrites in the program
Seems like I ought to be able to set something in the properties field - like 'Collections" - this has a bound columns property with header text - but I can't figure out what to put for 'data field' - program keeps blowing up on this

Hey all
I've got an aspx page that has a number of text boxes on it. I have the following javascript function that counts characters within the text box:
function myLength(lbl,tb,max){
//lbl is the ID of the control that displays the count
//tb is the ID of the control that is being counted
//max is the maximum amount of characters allowed in the control
lbl.innerHTML = tb.innerHTML.length + " of " + max;
}
Within the vb page associated to the aspx page I have the following code:
txtTitle.Attributes.Add("OnKeyUp", "myLength(document.getElementById('" _
+ lblWC_Title.ClientID + "'),document.getElementById('" + _
txtTitle.ClientID + "')," + txtTitle.MaxLength.ToString + ")")
This adds the onkeyup event to the text box and passes the correct client ID's into the javascript function.
Now my problem is this, if my asp text box is multiline then the word count works fine but nothing happens if it is a text box set to be single line. I use the same methods as shown above for both types of text box. Any ideas on what is causing this?

Have you examined the code that is created (e.g. view source in browser), to see what is missing?

Sorry for taking so long to reply, didnt email me like it said it would. The problem is solved, it was because a textbox with multiline selected is rendered as textarea which has both innerHTML and innerTEXT where as a single line text box does not have either of these. Instead changing the .innerHTML or .innerTEXT to simply '.value' solved the problem.

That can't be done. When the server side code runs, the client side code doesn't exist any more (or rather, is doomed to be replaced by the page that the server side is creating).
If you want to run some code server side, then some code client side, you have to make the server side code output client code to be run when the next page loads in the browser.

i have created one java script file through asp.net.i also refer this page in html page.but at the time of first login it can create the java script file and it was refered by the html page.but when i click the next time the file was created.but the html page refered the old file.how to rectify it?

The file is cached by the browser. You can prevent this by changing the url of the file, for an example by adding a parameter containing a timestamp, a random number or a counter.

Actualy my problem is
in my login page according to the user name it will fetch the user rights from the database.depending upon the user rights a new javascript file will be created in the working dirctory(c:\inetpub\wwwroot\myappln\lib\jest.js).that javascript file is refered in the index page.first time it was corectly loaded.but when i click the logout button and login with another user,the new javascript file was creted according to this user rights.but in the index page it refer the previous user javascript file.so each time i want to close the browser then login to the new user.
suppose if i save the javascript file in c:\ it was working propoerly even for the new user with out closing browser.
i expect the valuable answer.

For payment gateway, you have to register and get a vendor account with the provider. They will also provide you the APIs to connect to their secure site and yes, sample code which help you. They should also provide you dummy card numbers to test your application before you make it live.

You could use Paypal.
They have a sandbox where you can test your application without any real charges being made against a credit card.
They also have very straight forward information on how to integrate payment into your website.

Hey,
im building a page using asp.net (c#).
I have never done it before but would like to build a search feature that searches my mysql database and returns relevant results.
I have searched the net for help and found some tutorials, altough they are not that good. While in the beginning the search would not be used much its my hope to be getting a lot of people using the search function eventually, so I would like to build it using the best approach so I will not have any bad problems or errors down the line.
Does any one know of any good articles, or tutorials that could help me out?

Since your search function is simply going to query a database for results, consider this as you would any other MySQL data-access request. You'll have a SELECT statement that supports parameters for retrieving records from your MySQL database. The parameter values will be supplied by your user by entering "whatever" in your "Search" box. You'll execute the query and bind the results to whatever makes sense for your search results (e.g. a GridView, or DataList, or Repeater... depending on how you want the search results to display).
