Am not getting any error.
But the menu couldnt be seen in the form.
Do i have to change any property either in form or in menu control?

I have a question abount printing in asp.net. I'm using asp.net 1.1(VB) to develope the page.
If i want to print the current web page by clicking on the "Print" button, how should i write the code to fire the print function?
I have try many times, but stil can't work. Anyone can help me about this problem. Can give me a guide about this print function.Thanks.

You only use the javascript: protocol when you run code in an URL. An event is not an URL, so it doesn't use a protocol.

Hi!
Simply my prob is:
For Datagrid i used 3 events:
ItemCommand,Databound & PAgeindexchanged..
Here that Page index changed wnt work, Instead of that it redirects the page where i mentioned in the itemcommand event, this event takes the more preference than page index,
How can we solve..?
If u need more explanation:
I hv the datagrid name as dg. i want to do paginng in that dg control.
I am using c#.
I fetched the imagebutton control name as img to the dg.
If we clicks that img it has to go another form(Models.aspx).
For this i used:
dg_itemdatabound event for find the control (img)
dg_itemcommand event for redirects to next page(Models.aspx)
Now i used 3rd event for the same dg control:
dg_Pageindexchanged event for paging.
Problem is:
I got the Prev & Next Buttons in the dg but if i clicks that one it redirects the page to Models.aspx (which is i mentioned in the itemcommand event)
I am displaying the next form based on the click of the imagebutton dynamically..
instead of that it has to display the remaining values...
I hope u got my problem.., How can we solve this one?

This was fine when I use at .Net 1.1 for the gridview cells, A (in red colour).
But the output for .Net 2.0 was <FONT COLOR=RED><B>A</B></FONT>

Could you please rephrase your question. As it stands all I have is what the output is in .NET 2.0, for which I have no context, and "Why can't I do this in .net 2.0?". Why can't you do what? What worked fine in 1.1? What is wrong with the output from 2.0?

In the past, in .Net 1.1 I have a datagrid and I binded my data using datatable, dataset etc. I have set earlier
public string strAbsent = "<FONT COLOR=RED><B>A</B></FONT>";
In some column the output will show A in red colour in the datagrid.
Now, I am migrating the project to .Net 2.0. I have a gridview and I binded my data using datatable, dataset etc.
But it appears that the output A is no longer in red colour but instead it shows exactly the html tags:
<FONT COLOR=RED><B>A</B></FONT>

Sorry maybe I did not explain clearly.
The above html tags was from the codebehind. how can I edit the item-template when I would not know where the letter A will appear in the gridview.

Some other letter will appear at the blank cells in the gridview. My purpose is to highlight to user, A with red colour so it catch reader eyes to notice the number of As.

Okay this may be a stupid question, but how do you build an HTML page from within ASP.NET? I'm trying to build an ASPX page where someone can set a bunch of settings for how they'd like a web the page to look like. Then when they hit the submit button, ASP.NET makes the alterations to the page and then loads that newly altered page into the browser. I'd also like to be able to alter the script within the page as well.
Most (if not all) of the examples I've seen to this point are based on the idea of altering the already loaded page, like changing the label1.text = "This has been changed";
Is there a way to make alterations to a different page, and what do they call this? I've Googled a million things such as "building HTML in ASP.NET" and found nothing. This seems like a pretty common task.

This looks like a typical case in which xsl transformation could work for you.
As I understand you want your webpage to get displayed according to some settings.
You can retrieve these settings in a dataset and create a xml file out of it.
Then you can use the xsl transform to transform this into HTML format.
The way you want to display the html will determine the logic in the xsl file.
I know I haven't included the actual code for you in this but hopes this helps you in some way

U will also have to give the sortexpression to the bound and template column.
Use Atlas framework for using AJAX. Put the GridView inside an updatepanel and that will do the job
