I Have 1 Dataset that i retrive from a Webservice and a similar dataset that
I populate from a local database.

I need to Perform Insert and Update on Tables in that Local DataBase Depending on the Differance in these two DataSets.

Is it Possible in Ado.Net 2.0 if So kindly Guide Me..

I create class for handle word
creted an instance and using it

Every thing is fine when , i am running in localhost

After uploading

I am getting the followin ERROR,

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have a page with lot of JavaScript on a page and a few DB functions\
Why is there a very long string (more than 150 lines) in the __VIEWSTATE variable?

u can manager ur viewstate on the server.
as a example u can store viewstate in table or session.
if u search codeproject having keyword viewstate then u can many article with code that how to optimize viewstate on the server side.pls search codeproject.

The __VIEWSTATE field contains the ViewState of the page. Some controls, like the DropDownList control, store all the data needed to recreate the control after postback in the ViewState.

You can disable this for each control using the EnableViewState property, or you can disable the ViewState for the entire page.

If you are using response.redirect then the page will be called from the server only.

try this

1.Add items in Page_load.

Eg:

Radiolist.Items.Add(new ListItem("yes","1"));<br />
Radiolist.Items.Add(new ListItem("No","2"));

2.Then add tool tip for this

Radiolist.Items[0].Attributes.Add("title", "enter tooltip text here");<br />
   Radiolist.Items[1].Attributes.Add("title", "enter tooltip text here");<br />

i have a GridView. Gridview Contains 1st is BoundField and 4th Column is CheckBoxField.

my requirement is disable the CheckBox (actually this is a CheckBoxField) for Some Rows Based on 1st Column (that is BoundColumn).

how to Disable the CheckBox in the DridView Row?

You can use the RowDataBound event of the GridView control, and get refetence to the checkbox control at the column 4, you then can enable/disable it.

No, you can't do that. The reload method reloads the page using the same URL. If you want to change the URL, assign it to the location property.

Example:

window.opener.location = 'ThePage.aspx?id=42';

Hi ppls. im new to ASP.Net (And code project!) so i need bit help. Im doing project in ASP.Net 2.0 (visual basic). i know there are alot of new fun sqldatasource goodies that binds gridviews to ur data source. but the project im involved in is hardcoding everything.

The gridview is setup and populatd from a dataset. but wot i want is to retrieve a selected value(coloum value) wen i select a row on the gridview and store that value.

whenever i am uploading any type of file through WebClient then it working fine but a header message is
adding at the top of the file and also at the end of the file.the header message is like as follows

i don't want to have the above header message because whenever i am uploading any picture file then
then this type header causes problem because only for this type of error the gif is not working properly.
suppose whenever i am opening this gif file the the picture is not showing only because of this header.
so pls tell me how could i avoid this header message with sample code.it is very urgent.

is it possible to select a row (or multiple rows) by clicking the row header(s) for a datagrid control on client side? i want a java script.

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
