I am not getting the value from the newstitle tag
When i put the mouse on the hyperlink It show the message in the status bar
'webform3.aspx?id =<%#DataBinder.Eval(Container.dataItem,"newstitle")%>
But i want id = string
string = data in the database.

lol - look at your quotes...

You have a single opening quote on the navigate URL attrib, but you need to close it and add a + symbol if you want the rest to appear as evaluated - you're just showing it as a literal string. Put the DataDinder bit outside the quotes

When I try to load subreport i get this error "The Report Application Server failed ".

i am creating pop up window when user clicks on button but it is refreshig the page while openining pop up window .i want to create pop up window without post back .
i know about callback feature of asp.net 2.0 but how would i use it to open pop up window.
any one can tell me.
i am creatinf pop up window using java script.

Hi,

I am trying to figure out a way to provide a virtual path to work in the following way:

1. Request is made to server, e.g http://www.myserver.com/clientname/
2. 'clientname' is stored as the profile name
3. All subsequent requests are returned from the http root (So http://www.myserver.com/clientname/Default.aspx would actually be http://www.myserver.com/Default.aspx)
4. Content is personalised according to the 'clientname' stored.

Now I have the personalisation working and I have a VirtualPathProvider returning a simple text message if the path is virtual but I cannot figure out how to separate the 'clientname' out to store and how to get the 'real' path of the requested file (Paths could also have sub-directories)

Any help greatly appreciated.

Sir,
I have 20 records in the database and two controls in the datalist namely 1 labels , 1 linkbutton , .When the form executes the datalist shows 20 records so each record will show 2 things as according to two control in the datalist.Now the problem is when i click on the linkbutton of the particular record I am unable to find that record's label control text.I mean at the click event i am taking a string type variable in which i want to store that record's label control text.

you can use file upload control to upload file .prompt client for upload file .

if you are taking input than take it directly in textbox or textarea controls.

you simply don't select, in that case, add an extra empty item to the dropdownlist and make it the default when the page loads....

Use Ctrl+Left/Right to switch messages, Ctrl+Up/Down to switch threads, Ctrl+Shift+Left/Right to switch pages.
