Hi All,
vb.net/C# applications are opened and compiled (build) properly while executing it will error message like 'The application failed to initialize properly(0x0000005). Click on ok to terminate the application'
And second problem When i open web application Visuval Studio closed automatically. I checked IIS it working fine(http://localhost).My web application also working fine in IE. Here I checked aspnet_state in that it will give error message like 'exiting with error code 0x80070427'. In the event log

Type Error
Please help me how to resolve those problems

Have you consulted the manual for the device, or checked if they have a home page that may contain any information?
How to interact with an external device is very specific to the type of the device, so at least you have to specify what device you are using for someone to be able to give you any information on it.

Integration with devices plugged into a computer is usually done with a COM component provided by the manufacturer.
As already suggested speak to the manufacturer of the item you have.

I have a problem using the menubar with a datasource of the sitemap. The sitemap has the features that I need but not the structure I'm looking for. The sitemap provides a top-down structure, but unfortunately when you are populating the menubar everything becomes under one menulist. I would like each menulist to have it's own ability to have a top-down structure with the securitytrimmingenabled. How can I accomplish this?

hi friends
i am working in ms access forms,i have an updation form in my project which contains a combo box ,combo box is bound with deparmtner name field os department table, i want when ever user select a department name from thsi combo box all other information related to selected department will show in other text boxews of form and user can change ne entry and he can update db at buttons click event, i need ur help regardign all this

Ok, im almost done making a program that gives you the command to use ACL's on routers and thus making the life of a person that doesn't know how to program a router ALOT easier. So lets cut to the chase.
If there is anyone here willing to help me out and for which ill be very grateful, all i need is a way get the values from an IP adress and the corresponding Wildcard Mask, and give the allowable adresses.
If you are unclear by what I mean please tell me and if anyone has anyidea on how to do this, i am eternally greatful, in the future I plan to release this project to the public anyways.

Hi, i'm new here but have been using vb.net for around a couple of years. I have set myself that task of creating a modified textbox, one with round corners. However it's been very frustrating and the textbox seems to ignore the paint eventhandler. I've come to realise that i'll need to subclass the textbox. However i don't have much experience with this, so i was wondering if someone could help to start me off in the right direction.

I downloaded and installed SQL 2005 Express so as i could use it in my Visual Studio... When i go to Add Item to project, and choose SQL Database, it i get the following message: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to the SQL Server 2005, This failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (Provider: SQL Network Interfaces, Error: 26 - Error Locating server/instance specified)
While this was true, i opened the settings for my connection and enabled remote connections and then restarted it. Yet the same error and problem still exist...
I tried several different things.. adding connections, and making tables there, yet it still wont work... i cant see to get it to make a usable DB.
anyone with advise, troublshooting steps, or that knows a simple guide that would show how to get this all set up, would be much appreciated...

These forums are for asking specific code/design questions.
If you don't have a clue on how to begin, then I suggest that you talk to your customer/manager(/teacher?) and get a list of software requirements needed by this project. Determining this list of requirements is the first step to every professional software project.

i use fucnction Called sendwait("what ever ") to wrtie to another active application and it works good.
also you can send a fucntion of key on keyboard such as i send a action of button, such as send.("{enter }") this make a enter action in active application from vb.net form
but the problem which i faced that i need to pass the fuction of button Alt to another application as enter in previus example
please i need to solve this problem and pass the action of Alt to another application ..

when design time i see images on toolbar buttons but after build then run, there is no images. I guess it is a bug of Vs.Net Express .
Any diffeerent idea ?
Recently i face so many times Loader Exception and still there is no fix for that.

I know .NET 1.0 and 1.1 had a bug like this when calling EnableVisualStyles(). The work-around was to call Application.DoEvents() after enabling visual styles and before displaying your form, like this...
