hi everyone, happy chinese new year
I wonder how do I change the font size of the text in the tabs in a tabcontrol. I tried changing the tab font, it changes all the fonts in the tabpage also.
Also, is there anyway to increase the size of the arrow buttons when there are too many tabs? I want it LARGe and very visible

You can put panel with normal font on tabpage - so you will get big font in tabs and normal font for the rest of the controls.

inside C# second edition is a really good C# book to buy. Beyond that, there are heaps of examples on this site. Why not work through the book, then download some samples, and examine them after trying to impliment the same hting yourself ?

I use this method to copy a part of the screen to a bitmap, and it works well, except for semi-transparent windows, that simply aren't captured.
So I found on the net that the parameter CopyPixelOperation.CaptureBlt would allow to capture semi-transparent windows too, but it simply doesn't work. The captured bitmap is black. I work on Windows XP, so that parameter should be supported.
Here is the code I use
gr.CopyFromScreen(new Point(Control.MousePosition.X - 5,
Control.MousePosition.Y - 5),
new Point(0, 0), new Size(11, 11),
CopyPixelOperation.CaptureBlt);
Any idea or work-around?

It may be the file format - try saving it as a PNG or GIF to use transparency properly
|

The bitmap is displayed on the screen.
Anyway I tried to create a 32bit ARGB bitmap, but id doesn't work: always black.

Not 2 weeks ago, there was an article / hack on removing the title bar, form's caption bar, or whatever you want to call it but not the title bar buttons, Im not talking about borderless or fixed window types - I guess, it was a hack.
Think Microsoft Money's interface, its still movable, the title bar is there.. but it's not, you can only do this in Visual Studio 2005.
I know this a little vague - but it's all I got.
Anyone know the article im speaking of ?

Hello,
I want to keep the personal details including a picture of a user and store this information in a database and display later.
I binded the textboxes to a datatable but could not bind the picturebox and the image.
I tried the code below.. How can I handle that??

You can bind picturebox using Format event

Hi all,
I am new to C#, I have learned how to drag a datasource table to Form and attach Binding navigator to show the data. Everything is working nice. But when I add, change or delete something and after that when I click SAVE button, I always see that nothing is being updated within the database. I have no clue what may be the reason. Can you help me please.

Hello there,
I've been trying to solve the following problem for quite a while with no success :-/
Here is the situation: my form contains a multiple-selection ListView control and a simple textbox. The textbox shows the concatenation of all the selected items (the first sub item of each ListViewItem).
Now here is my problem - when I drag-and-select items in the list view (which can get REALLY big ; about 500 items), the SelectedIndexChanged event fires whenever a new item is selected. Thus, the process of concatenation occurs from the beginning at each time. For example, if I drag 10 items, the event fires 10 times, but each time the count of selected items grows, and thus the concatenation occurs for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and so forth until 10. Same goes when dragging over 100 items.
I know string concatenation is heavy but that is not the problem here.
I can't find way to tell which item was selected last. 
ListView.FocusedItem won't help since I'm not using the keyboard nor clicking on specific items.
Please help…

Did you try using the SelectedItems[^] property instead? You can then simply use the last item in the collection returned by that property.

in my program i have the Order Form (win Form)
in this form i have some textbox and grid
know the grid is bound the a dataset on the grid i have some filds like productID,Qunataty,UnitPrice,Total
i am filling all the data on the Form and the order is insert well to the db
now if i want to change something in this particular order i select the order detiles from the db by OrderId num
an all the order detiles are displayd on the Form
the problem is when i want to add products to the order
the product detiles that is bound to the datagrid is updated but the OrderId is not
this is the code :

I ve class library ( installer class ) , i load embedded resource on hard desk to execute within setup. breifly , installer class execute 3 msi as embedded resources .. it was working but now it gives me error that there is another installation in progress and i ve to finish this installation before the current one.

Hi
I try to delete my Temporary Internet Files using C# Code.
I thought.. no problem, but the only file that was found is the desktop.ini...
No other files in that Directory..

Under what user account are you running the code? Each user account have their own cache folder for Internet Explorer.

I've been trying to find some sort of Wrapper DLL for CAPI 1.1/2.0 functions for C#/.NET framework but I couldn't find anything of the sort.. anyone have a clue where I can begin to look? I really don't want to dive into the quagmire of developing my own DLL for this stuff.
