QuestionWRAPI and WLAN setup Pin
inf00916-Jan-06 5:15
inf00916-Jan-06 5:15
I am having problems executing a project with WRAPI, I am using Visual
Studio 2005, a Windows XP SP2 (32 bit) machine, and I installed Win
DDK "windows xp sp1 ddk" (2600.1106).

I added the WrapiTest.cpp file from the WRAPI site into a new MFC project, copied WRAPI.dll
and WRAPI.lib into the project's folder, added #pragma comment(lib,
"WRAPI.lib"),
and added C:\WINDDK\2600.1106\src\network\ndis\ndisuio\sys as an
additional library in my project settings (in that folder resides
nuiouser.h).

The project compiles just fine but at execution I am getting error
"This application has failed to start because MFC42D.DLL was not
found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I am
pretty sure this error connects with my project's settings: General ->
Use of MFC -> Use MFC in a share DLL and Settings -> C/C++ -> Code
Generation -> Runtime Library -> Multi-threaded Debug DLL (/MDd).

I just don't understand what the WRAPI site means with:

MSVCRT.dll (Multithreaded Debug and Release versions of the standard
C-runtime library)
MFC42.dll (Multithreaded Debug and Release versions of the MFC runtime library)

I downloaded this dll's and copied into my project's folder and then
became other errors so I undid this.

Google didnt help me that much, so any Feedback in more than welcome.

Is there another way to set up a WLAN (also AdHoc) programatically?

Thanks.
