Actually no, i haven't taken a loot at OnUpdate?

can you be more specific please....

i've managed to solved my problem using the StreamIn method of the RichEditCtrl....
and then read the file using the edit callback (saw a code in MSDN)

but, if OnUpdate is better ,i would like to know
