QuestionIs it possible to create a reversible hash? Pin

Hi,

I am not quite sure if "Is it possible to create a reversible hash?" is the right question here but this is what I am trying to accomplish....

I have certain strings that I would like to convert to somthing unreadable and back to the original text. The key is not only to make the string unreadable but to make it as short as possible as well.

I tried using .NET Cryptography but I cannot convert the hash back to the original string.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Zenly
