Hi..I having some problems regarding C# web application. I need to use C# web application program to design a web page. In VB we can use context menu to click on it and goes to the next page we have sleclected.But somehow, C# program doesn't have context menu and i know that i have to use javascript to design it out.. I not too sure how javascript can be done in C# web application.. Thankz =)

Which upload component are you trying to use. This error message "unknown progid" may mean that the upload component that you are trying to use is not registered on the server machine.

Hi,

Hi guys!

I'm having a problem with opening an Excel spreadsheet located on a network drive using the old ASP (not ASP.NET). I tried opening the same file from my local test server and the code works perfectly. But when I try to open the file from a network path it gives the following error:-

Error Type:
Microsoft Excel (0x800A03EC)
'\\server\exceltest.xls' could not be found. Check the spelling of the file name, and verify that the file location is correct. If you are trying to open the file from your list of most recently used files on the File menu, make sure that the file has not been renamed, moved, or deleted.

I've also tried using a mapped path, ie. "G:\exceltest.xls" but still doesn't work. I've looked everywhere on MSDN for info on access rights but can't find any on this subject. Does anyone know if opening an Excel file from a network drive is possible?

What's wrong with my RSS feed?

This is one of my first attempts at adding an RSS feed to a website.

I can load the feed at start.com, but it won't load on my Google personalized homepage.

Any ideas?

I think it may have something to do wtih the encoding, but I'm so new to this that it's just a guess. It does validate, but something else is still wrong since Google doesn't like it. Mad | :mad:

Browser Control

Hi
In my project I am having a browser control which will load a web page and perform some click events automatically without user interface. I made this in a lib file and using in Web application.
This browser control is executing without any problem in certain machines and also it is not at all loading in some others.
I have enabled all my options in 'Internet Options'..
I can't find the problem.
I am very thank full to Help me..

On some machines it is loading properly.
In some others its not at all loading. Simply a symbol of the browser control is loading. AxBrowser is used.

Hi

I have my browser control in a DLL which is reffered to the Web Form. When I try to debug it is not stepping into that page which contains the browser(AxBrowser) control. I have attached the DLL to the Debug process.

Whats the problem?
Can any one Help me?

Hi there,

+ The simple way is to use the accessKey[^] property to define the accelerator key for the element.

+ If you want to create a custom shortcut key, you might have a look at the onkeydown[^]/onkeypress events and provide the event handlers for the events. In the event handler, you can do the checking on the event data so that you can take a proper action for the pressed keys.

Hi,
I need some help with IE Control Treeview,
I am making this treeview for selecting inputs
for an online application for eg the structure will be like this:
The following sample if we check the Men's Wear check box, all the
following child nodes must get selected and if it is unchecked all
the child node must be unchecked.

I tried to do this with IE Treeview control but have no idea as to how
to enable the checkboxes from the client side.I can do it with vbcode
but is it works with that then there is a post back is there anyway
I can do this with javascript.

Hi there,
In this case, you'll have to edit the treeview htc component defined in the treeview.htc file. You can open the file and go to the checkboxClick method which is the event handler for the click event of the treenode's checkbox. And you will provide a snippet of script to recursively check/uncheck all the checkbox elements of the child nodes. Another way that you might try is to create an event handler for the oncheck event of the treeview control, then recursively check/uncheck the child nodes.

Well thank you very much for your help.But i already tried that.and wrote 7 function to enable and disable the tree check boxes and to set the queueEvent to each of the checkboxes.the thing is that while i am at it this code is cheking all the checkboxes and not the ones i want.

In the source code of the TreeNode class, you need to provide a snippet of code to process this custom event. For more information, you can have a look at the implementation of other events, and do the same.
