I designed a simple SDI application with a CTreeView as a main view and i used GetTreeCtrl() to insert items to the tree view in OnInitialUpdate() function of the TreeView class like this:
(GetTreeCtrl().InsertItem_T("Item A"))
So the problem is: i like to add new item to this TreeView from a Dialog when i click on Ok button but i dont know how to use GetTreeCtrl() from the Dialog .
|
|
|
|
|
You must pass a reference (or pointer) of the CTreeView object to your dialog. Then you will be able to do what you want. The best way to do this is to place the code to manipulate the tree on the view. When the user closes the dialog, the view changes the tree accordingly.

Hi,
Does anyone know how many threads we can create in Windows CE? I'm aware that it depends upon the system properties. Let us say, I have 64 MB RAM(minimum) in my device, then how many threads I can create?
Thanks,

I need to spawn one exe from another running exe on pocket PC.
After the spawning the first exe can end or not I don't care.
According to the documentation I should be able to:
ExecuteAssembly(ExeName)
but this will not compile VB.net- "Name ExecuteAssembly is not declared"
C#.net- The name 'ExecuteAssembly' does not exist in the class or namespace
Then another part says use AppDomain.Create Domain.
this compiles but throws NotSupportedExceception.
documentation says that it is supported.
All my old tricks have been rendered useless:
Spawn
Exec
System
Shell
Please Help the struggling proggrammer thanks for your support.

Actually, the CAB file is easy - use cabwiz.exe. What I *really* want to know is how to do the equivalent of a 'Build | Build CAB File' menu command, from the command line, so that it makes my (very complex) .inf file automatically for my autobuild.
Visual Studio 2003 / .Net 1.1 / PPC
Ideas, anyone?
TIA
Gizz

Hello,
I'm developing a application using .net C#, .net CompactFramework.
I checked it using visualStudio debug mode, it ran normally.
Now, I don't know how to deploy( or install ) it.
I ran it's solution file, click "rebuild of cab file", created cab file.
I copied it from pc to mobile pc.
I ran it, but error occuered.
"SmartDeviceApplication not found" or "not found .netcompactframework"
So, I tried to install .netcompactframework, but I couldn't it.
If you have how to do it detail, please tell me.

No Not like a cell phone anyway, You could use something like Skype, but you'd always need to be in range of a Wi-Fi connection. If you looking for PocketPC Phones check out http://www.phonescoop.com/[^] they have a list of them there....
