I usually don't do lunch, but sometimes I just buy some of those very, very tasty sandwiches they sell at a local shop.
This mostly happens when I just had a terrible meeting, a very difficult or some other reason that needs some cooling down or a good period of thinking. That's where the lunchbreak is for anyway, or am I wrong?

I go out with some mates, have a pizza or a simple sandwich. The campus has not a canteen, because 50,000 students are really too many to feed!
We're lucky because there are dozens of places to have lunch... the prices are usually studend-sized, so we can get stuffed for a few Euros!

that lately, my breakfast AND lunch consist of:
1 large energy drink
1 snickers 'Multi Grain Crunch' energy bar
... who can stand to eat anyway, when there's coding to do?!;P

I have found working from home makes for much better eating habits. No more popping down to the take-away joint outside the office. I also have access to a proper stove, fridge and cooking utensils.
I reckon every office should have a fully stocked and properly equipped kitchen.

You'd never get your screen back then. She'd sit on your lap all day batting at it and the moment you turned it off her claws would sink into your thighs and you'd have to turn it back on

I'd honestly be more worried about the cats claws going into the LCD than my thighs. 
Picture a huge catholic cathedral. In it there's many people, including a gregorian monk choir. You know, those who sing beautifully. Then they start singing, in latin, as they always do: "Ad hominem..."

Most of the time, at least. Saves money and keeps me from getting too fat. 
The generation of random numbers is too important to be left to chance.

I often eat lunch at home, usually because i hadn't made it in to the office yet. At one time, i kept a mini-fridge under my desk, stocked with enough food to feed me through the week - bread, ham, condiments, yoghurt... But that got nixed by the office police, so i figure the time i spend away from work eating out, driving home, or cooking is a fair trade.

My office has a full kitchen, along with a huge gas grill on the porch. We usually either order delivery (or call and pick up) lunch for the whole office, or one of us goes grocery shopping for steaks, burger, salad - whatever - and we cook a bunch of fresh chow. Once in a great while our front office lady makes us her famous tacos, and several times a month someone stops by selling homemade tamales or burritos out of the car. Mmmmmm, good stuff! We may not get much work done, but we certainly eat well. No wonder the boss just bought us all gym memberships.

I always get out of the building to go get my lunch but then I end up eating it at my desk to try to catch up on my work.
Kind of the best of both worlds. I get out and see the world but still get a chance to get things done. People around here are really good about bothering people during lunch.

Does anybody else do anything other than eating during lunchtime? I take a 90 minute lunch break, and run or work out. I then eat my lunch at my desk afterwards (usually a couple of PB&J from home, or a salad from here at work).

The workout takes from 60-90 minutes. I work while I eat my lunch, although I'll admit it's mostly lightweight tasks since my concentration isn't 100%. Since I come in at 7:00 a.m. and don't leave until 5:00 p.m. my employer doesn't have any complaints.
They actively encourage us to stay fit. Our building has a 1.1 mile walking trail around it. Our fitness room includes enough club-quality equipment that there's never any waiting for a machine. It's a simple business decision for them: Active, healthy, fit employees have lower absenteeism and health care costs.
