GeneralOpinions Required: ASP.NET Project Pin

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for opinions before even starting this new ASP.NET project. In the past, we've usually developed our projects under one Visual Studio project. Now, I'm wondering if it would be better to break up this new project into separate projects. For example, for each content type section of the site, create a new project specifically for that section and have developers work on their particular section. And with that, there would be a top-level project that binds all of these other projects.

I'm just wondering if there would be any type of adverse code management impact , or would this usually be the preferred way to break up a large project that has many different types of content section.

I'm sure this will open up a large can of worms. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

~Brad
