There is no event for that fired by the MSFlexGrid control. The only your going to see is a Click event firing for the entire control, not the column that was resized.

OKay here is the thing. I want to use MD5 to hash a user-defined value into an xml file. The problem is the hash isn't getting to the file. I know the value is being hashed because I put in a message box at the end of the code to display the value of the text box and it comes up as hashed. When I check the xml its not hashed just in plan text. here is the what I am useing. NOTE: No its not the whole thing just all that should be needed to figure this problem out. If you notice I try to hash the username one way and the password another because those are the only two ways I could think of.

A web site I am using needs being regularly refreshed otherwise the site disconnects my session ( for security reasons) and I have to log in and enter my password again.
To keep being connected I just need to click on some hyperlink.
I would like to write a VB applet which would just do the click .
How can that be done?

hi all, i have some settings i save to the registry. i want to save the connection string's in my app to the registry as well. here is what i have for connections strings
strCnxn = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\RMSC LOGIN\MYDataBase.mdb;Persist Security Info=False"
strCnxn = "Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\RMSC LOGIN\Exhibits.mdb;Persist Security Info=False"
What do I need to do in order to save these, Should I set the strCnxn to a varible and the varible gets it value from registry?
I would also need to include a test to the database's to make sure the paths are correct.

Hi All,
I am trying to use the set method of querystring property to change a value that I passed as parameter
e.g. Request.QueryString.Set("test", "Yes")
I want to assign "Yes" to "test". And "test" is passed from previous page as querystring. Can anyone tell me how I can this working.

Hi,
The Request.QueryString property returns a read-only System.Collections.NameValueCollection object. You won't be able to modify it no matter how hard you try.
You will need to copy that collection over to a new NameValueCollection in order to modify it.
It's a shame that the HttpRequest.QueryString documentation doesn't mention that it is read-only, but a quick look with Reflector confirms it.

Do you want to use a) a third party component or a) draw it yourself?
a) Have a look at Office Web Components, free and easy, do a search on MSDN for it
b) Have a look at drawing with GDI+ Bob Powell[^] is a great start.

one way is to create a custom paper size.
Open the printer control panel
Click on 'File', 'Server propertys'
There you can create a new paper format.

i have compiled the files that i need to use in .dll form, but i do not know how to call it to be used in my program. does anyone can teach me how to call a .dll file to be used in the program in vb.net?(i mean the programming steps and codes)

This is confusing Visual Studio does all this for you. You create your ASPX pages, you write the code in the code behind, you press build and it builds it and puts it in your web server and then you can run it.
Or, have you created a Class Library with extra code in it? If this is so, then the Class Library project should be added to the solution where the Web Application is, then you can right-click your Web Application project and select Add Reference, then click the properties tab, then double-click the Class Library project then you can close the dialog and build your project again. The Class Library will be referenced in your Web Application project so that it can be used. However if this was your problem then I cannot see how Visual Studio ever managed to successfully build your project in the first place.
You need to be more specific when describing your problem.

Actually, I created the .DLL files using MATLAB, then I used the Add Reference(in VB.net) to add it to my project, which is a Web Application.
Now, I need to invoke those .DLL to be used, but I do not know what are the steps and codes to be written in my .aspx.vb files to invoke the .DLL files. So, I was wondering how should I code it.

General Notes :

- It is an ease method to create a COM Interop.
- Visual Basic .NET builds the assembly and registers the COM object with the operating system automatically(implicitly)
- Select New Project and Select Class Library on Templates area.
- Change the Name ClassLibrary1 to COMINterop1.
- Select The button OK.
- Now a Class Library Opened.
We have to Add a COM Class as following…
