Try try tagging the classes <serializable()>.
<serializable()> _
Public Class Test
....
<serializable()> _
Public Class TestTag
....
If that doesn't work you may have to declare the Tag property Test.

 i'm developing training management system as a live project in asp.net using vb.net code behind. oracle 8i is my backend. i want to create dynamic check boxes related to number of records in my database table. and also want to store the content of the checked check boxes back to database. now i have done dynamic creation but not able to access its properties. can anyone help me..???Please reply fast its very urgent..

according to my understanding ..
if your checkbox array name is chk then you can access it through
you can check the number of check boxes through
chk.length and in for loop
Dim count as integer
for count=0 to chk.length-1
chk(count).checked=true
next

I use vb6.0 to develop a application.
There is two function which could exit from the application.
The first, in menu , close threads and call unload me.
The second, in Form_Unload, just close threads.
The threads is some new operation about database.I have to set nothing to them.
If I exit from menu, all things are good.
If I exit by point the cross on the right above of the form,the form disappear. However , the process is still in the memory. I have to kill it myself.
How to solve the problem?

I supose vb6 has closing event, you can set the code there.

There is not close event in a VB6 form.
All the events about exit is :
QueryUnload
Unload
Terminate
I tried these events above, no help.

Hi,
I have a requirement to change the background color of a selected row in a listview control. By default it is navy blue. I have to set different color before the selected row gets painted.

Hi, I'm localizing my windows app and I accidentally choose a language that I don't want to (actually, I accidentally choose 2 languages  ), the fact is that I removed the *.resx but when I build the app at the /bin folder appears those unwanted languages.
Please, help!! I must finalize my final project to graduate this week

How to print? I tried Printer.print "sadsdf".
It did print after I closed the application. It seems that the printing is in low priority, How do I change this? Thanks

From memory:
Printer.print stores the text you want to print in the memory while waiting for more commands.
You have to call Printer.flush to send the commands to the printer.

This should have been an easy task, but won't work for me. The following format: dataadapter.update(dataset) works fine when updating data, but errors out when attempting to update a new table. I have inserted records into the dataset through code, they are visible in the dataset, have a row state of added - just won't update the underlying tables! HELP!!

Does your dataadapter have an SQL INSERT command associated with it, or just an SQL UPDATE?

If an exe A.EXE calls an ActiveX DLL B.DLL, which opens a form which has an OCX called C.OCX:
Is there a way C.OCX can tell teh name of the DLL which launched the form that called it?

No there isn't. The only way it can tell is if your OCX has function which take a parameter as such. The form would then have to pass a reference to itself to the function, which is never done by default.

Of course it is. You'll have to open the file and parse it up using the Split function, putting each line/field into a DataTable object yourself. This DataTable can then be used as a DataSource in a DataGrid.

Hi,
Could someone tell me how I could overlay a file's icon with my own overlay icon?
For example; I would like to set my overlay icon on a selected file and be able to remove the overlay when I want.

I really need some help on this one...
I'm trying to make an application that I will be stored on a cd-rom.
This application will help me to execute .exe and .zip files
from the same cd-rom as my application.
But I can't find out how to execute files from the application path.
I remember that I have seen this kind of code somewhere. But that would
take me hours or even days to find that again.
I've tried using Shell and the Environment class but with
no good results.
So what should I do? Any tips?
