Take a break from it for a while, if you can. Don't know how many times I've been stuck and taken a break and when I came back to it...bam.

Does anyone know why we have not been getting The Code Project's "Daily News" emails in the past week or so?

Speculation is there's a shake up going on at code project. See further down in the lounge...Chris is leaving.

Thank you for your update...
I have always enjoyed the Daily News emails. Hopefully, Chris' replacement will take up this aspect of The Code Project's repertoire...

There is a sarcastic CP news article that ridicules the people questioning the lack of daily news emails, explaining it all away as the editor taking his first vacation in 25 years, etc. etc.
The fact that somebody went on vacation is not the issue. The fact that the CP "organization" has nobody to fill in while somebody goes on vacation is the pathetic part... for which they have no explanation, except to ridicule people for asking about what was going on.
It would seem that CP is busy imploding. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Actually, insulting without knowing what is going on, is the pathetic part.

So how much do you have invested in CP anyway?
This could be it for CP for all we know. Now consider what Chris et al have been through and done for us over the years decades without ever asking for anything back.
Try to at least appreciate that. Don't act like an entitled beotch.

It looks like "the Daily Build" is still going, but "the Daily Insider" isn't.
The weekly web newsletter has also lost the links to external posts from the top, and is now just a list of web-related articles posted or updated on CodeProject in the last week.
Essentially, anything that's automated is still running. But the stuff that required human input isn't.
Chris has gone. Matthew's gone. Kent and Sean seem to be AWOL. I haven't seen anything posted by any member of staff in weeks. The wheel's spinning, but the hamster isn't in his cage. It's starting to feel like we're rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.

Maybe he's "going" rather than "gone"; his LinkedIn profile[^] says he's looking for a new job.

I'll take your word for it; I don't have access to LinkedIn profiles.

I do ( have access to profiles ) Richard - it looks like Mathew is looking for work - could this be the end of CP as we know it ?

It doesn't bode well Richard - I'm suprised you insiders( for want of a better word ) weren't informed about the shake up ahead of time
